What Does Societal Collapse and Martial Law Look Like?

According to a survey conducted by the Adelphi University Center for Health Innovation, 55 percent of Americans believe that the government will come to their rescue when the proverbial poop hits the fan because your big brother really cares. Literally, every alternative media outlet could show conclusive proof that an EMP was going to wipe out the power grid. We could conclusively prove that nuclear bombs were going off in 39 American cities in the most horrific false flag attack in world history and it would not make any difference to 55% of all Americans because of their cognitive dissonance.

The United States is staring at an economic collapse in the face with its $17 trillion dollar deficit, $238 trillion dollars of unfunded mandates (e.g. social security, Medicare, etc.) and a one quadrillion dollar derivatives debt in which the governments of the world are being forced to assume in the form of the “bailouts”. Even if Obama and his bankster puppet masters never had any intention of executing a false flag event in order to put this country into martial law in order to fully complete the coup d’état that is already underway, a crash is coming. The banks are going to collapse, the people will riot, there will be food shortages, whether they be planned or unplanned. I do, however, believe that food will undoubtedly be used to control the unruly masses, despite the DHS and their new found friends in the Chinese and Russian personnel which are on our soil.

Are you prepared? At the bottom of this article, I will visually demonstrate to the reader with real time examples of human behavior in groups, how each of us are going to be in very grave danger when the collapse comes. But first, let’s analyze America’s present level of individual and collective preparedness.

How Prepared Is America?

The Adelphi University research center tells us that 53% of all Americans do not have a three day supply of nonperishable food and water in their homes. FEMA and DHS are not about serving the needs of the American people; These agencies are about preserving the status quo of the powers that be. But don’t try and tell that to 55% of the citizens of this country.

Most Likely Causes of a Societal Breakdown

As the TV show by the same name, there are literally a 1,000 ways to die. The following six events represent some of the most likely events which would mortally wound our society.

1. False flag attack as a result of a chemical and biological attack

2. False flag attack as a result of a series of nuclear explosions

3. World War III

4. EMP attack

5. Economic collapse

6. Military coup resulting in civil war

America’s Level of Preparedness

A brief summation of the Adelphi study reveals the following:

  • 44 percent don’t have first-aid kits
  • 48 percent lack emergency supplies
  • 53 percent do not have a minimum three-day supply of nonperishable food and water at home
  • 55 percent believe local authorities will come to their rescue if disaster strikes

This means that 56% of those with first-aid kits, 52% of those with emergency supplies, and 47% of those who have more than three days worth of water, will be victimized by those who have not properly planned. Please allow me to put this into a real number for you. Over 130 million teenagers and adults will be in the streets seeking to obtain life-sustaining resources in a very short time following the disaster event. This is a train wreck starting to happen.

Time Frame for Societal Breakdown

Those that would be fortunate enough to survive the initial event, or series of events, would face the following timetable of events.

In the first one to two days, all shelves would be emptied of food, water, guns and medical supplies. There will be no resupply as nothing will be shipped.

On the beginning of the third day, individuals will be in the streets scavenging for anything they can find that will keep themselves and their families alive. If there is a loss of power, many will die as a result of exposure to the elements.

By the fifth day, desperate people will organize into collectives (i.e. gangs) and will go house to house looking for stored supplies from the half that has somewhat prepared. Neighborhoods will begin to organize themselves into local vigilante groups for protection from local gangs who have become desperate. This is the day that many of the police walked off the job in New Orleans in order to protect their families. Groups of police could become the most dangerous groups in society.

In the days that follow, nobody can be trusted. There will be people who will dress up in official looking uniforms (e.g. military, national guard, police) in order to gain entry into a fortified home.

The game changing event will be a civil war. Not only will you have to deal with marauding hordes of resource deficient people, you could also be caught in the crossfire between two, or more warring armies.

Casualty Rates

1. World War III. The casualty estimates dating back to the 1960’s and 1970’s related to an all-out nuclear war was placed at 150 million Americans or at 80-85%.

2. False flag attack as a result of a series of nuclear explosions. The casualty rate is indeterminable and would depend of the number of cities involved and their relative populations and the size and placement of the nuclear device. Generally speaking, one nuclear device in a city the size of Phoenix would kill 20,000 to 100,000 people. Many more would die in the upcoming weeks due to the effects of radiation.

3. False flag attack as a result of a chemical and biological attack. The casualty rates are indeterminable but past pandemics have wiped out one-third to 40% of a society.

4. EMP attack. The Naval War College tells us that within two years of a power grid take down, that 90% of us would be dead.

5. Military coup resulting in civil war. The casualty rates of war as well as civilians victimizing each other would be impossible to calculate. Conservative estimates would place the rate at 5% to 25%.

6. Economic collapse. It is impossible to exactly determine. I think a safe bet would place this event in the category of a false flag “cyber attack” upon Wall Street and the Banking system. Or, the world totally moves away from the Petrodollar causing our currency to hyper-inflate. The resulting casualty rates would be difficult to calculate. The government would be able to establish order following a brutal crackdown. However, in our weakened state, we would be inviting an invasion. A civil war could break out as well.

What Will the Riots Look Like?

NORTHCOM, DHS, FEMA and the Russians have all practiced on quelling domestic disturbances and conducting gun confiscation. Even the elite have gathered their own private armies in preparation for the same civil unrest.

Unfortunately, DHS is not releasing any videos which demonstrate the severity of the civilian uprising that they are practicing for. However, we do have some Black Friday “drills” which exemplify how crazy it will get in the first few hours of a societal breakdown.

The following video is from the 2012 version of Black Friday. It raises the question, that if people will act like animals with depraved indifference towards the welfare of their fellow human beings in the first few minutes of a Black Friday sale, what will they do when it comes to food, water and guns?

If you think that this phenomena is just confined to 2012, think again. The following two videos from last year’s version of Black Friday.

Conclusion

At minimum, there is an economic collapse in our near future with the massive debt which is unsustainable. The presence of the NDAA and EO 13603 speaks to the government’s plans to deal forcefully with any disturbances. The preparation by DHS is unmistakable with its acquisition of over two billion rounds of ammunition and 2700 armored personnel carriers. And when we see foreign troops (e.g. the Russians and the Chinese), we should all be gravely concerned. Additionally, FEMA,  and DHS, both last and this year have engaged in a seemingly endless set of disaster planning drills which parallels the content of this article.

To the 55% who are clueless, take out an insurance policy and begin to store food, water guns and ammunition. To everyone else, who has at least some idea of what is going on, begin to reach out to your neighbors because you will need the additional safety that numbers can bring.

And what will the resulting martial law look like? A clear picture of this eventuality is beginning to emerge and that will be the topic of the next part in this series.

If we are going to fight WW3 against the Russians and the Chinese, how and why would they be on our soil to “help” the same military that they will be fighting? that makes no sense.

During the Great Depression the US population was 124,000,000. Just over 12 million died of starvation, 7 million in Urban areas and 5 million in the Rural areas, that was about 10,4% of the population that died.

Think in today’s terms, according to the FBI there are over 22,000 “Violent Gangs” with over 1.3 million members and growing 13,000 a month.

God, values and moral are gone compared to the early 19th century when neighbors helped neighbors and a family was traditional.

I’d expect the 10.4% to be much higher, what is our population now, approx 330 million? Could it be possible that 33 million could parish?

There is no doubt this is going to happen. Those born in the last 65 years cannot fathom the Eugenics war that is upon us. Unfortunately we have let them prepare to take us out with our inaction, outside interests, and selfish attitudes. Who or what will come out the other end of this is anybody’s guess. Pray for mercy and wisdom. May the elites plan fail miserably.

More like 98%, 1% is aware, the other 1% is the ruling elite. We are screwed!

Groups of police could become the most dangerous groups in society? Don’t look now, but those cowardly thugs are they most dangerous group and have been for many years ! Questions, what will you do when a family with small children show up? what will you do when a mother leaves her baby in your driveway? what will you do when a gang of insanely desperate from starvation people show up, oh by the way ,they will not announce their arrival , and there is a certainty they won’t be knocking on your door but walking across it, what will you do when the lights go out and you hear but don’t see . Team up with like minded folks , please whatever you thank it’s going to be ,forget about it, it will be horror magnified times infinity . Christ said it will be the worst time man has ever known or ever will know. Love God and your neighbor today , besides it’s the only thing that has real value. Don’t just sit there , get up and start making prayerful contacts.

I well remember the Cuban missle crisis and how we stock-piled a year’s worth of food in the basement. I also remember how the neighbors laughed at us! My Papaw placed most of the guns with the food and told me to shoot anyone who tried to get it. I was 10 years old, but I knew how to use a gun – and I had no qualms about pulling the trigger. The stakes were simply too high…. Here we go again.

If things really do hit rock bottom then no one’s imagination can grasp how bad things will be. In Liberia this morning thousands are breaking quarantine to scavenge for food. Remember a few weeks ago when msm reported a short segment on how 40% of the Liberian farmers had fled the fields in fear of Ebola. Well, now it’s taking its toll…no food. These infected people will be drinking from the same wells, buckets, cups, glasses, and using the same plates and saucers as healthy people. Never in history has their been a societial collapse without disease taking the majority of the population to the grave. America won’t be the exception. Especially dealing with a society where no one is used to living the hard life and dealing with even the minimal day to day survival. If any of you have ever watched the movie ‘The Bunker” then this country seems to be of the same mentality. Everyone is partying and drinking themselves into oblivion while trying to convince themselves that this is all one bad dream and the Red Army [Russians} will just go away. Even worse they followed their leader until the very end. Hitler was not any worse than the rest of the world leaders but he could have done a whole lot more to save his people. We need to be aware that Hitler was not German, he was Austrian. Napolean was not French, he was Corsican and Stanlin was not a full fledge Russian, he was from an outer province of southern Georgia. Needless to say, unless you ignore all the facts, Obama is as much American born as Putin. All the aforementioned sooner or later led their nations into absolute ruin and the imposter we have will do the same. He could care less, in fact it would be his crowning achievement. Thanks

Foreign soldiers would be most likely to fire on Americans, having them here in a capacity to ‘help’ is to find acceptance of them. This is NOT about saving America, its about taking America down…. Other nations have been dis-assembled, Iraq, Libia, Egypt, rulers ‘removed’ replaced with chaos, Japans economy was destroyed by Soros years ago in an exercise, Britian also, looking to perfect methods to attack USA. @ you tube watch ‘State of Mind’ this will explain methods, who, why and how we have been convinced to allow the overwhelming insanity we have watched for 10 years+

dave: excellent article. This reinforces what our family has decided to continue to do this Christmas season. My husband has made a tradition that “It’s Christmas everyday at our home” We purchase what we need and not want, all year long. Our family and friends know this about us and there is no pressure to buy. My daughter and I bake home-made sugar cookies every year for her friends as gifts.. When the dollar hyper-inflates, there will not be a choice whether to buy plastic trinkets or food. Be satisfied with healthy food, spirit filled people, and good conversation.. We have been preparing for this, by standing alone for many years. This is one goy the money masters will not profit from this year.

  16. Chris S. November 4, 2014 at 1:58 pm

I have been married for over 28 years. The past (2) years or so. I have been fighting with my wife over getting prepared for what I know for fact is coming to all of us. I have done a lot to get ready. What we are not agreeing on is to buy a retreat location with the safety and resources there. In the Bible God says that the man is in charge of his home. That also means my wife and kids. He holds me responsible to listen to what the Holy Sprit is telling me and I do. So, I believe if my wife won’t even look at the evidence of all these threats and make up her own mind. I believe I need to move forward and get a place that will be safe for her when needed. It bothers me all day and night that something could happen at any moment and we would be stuck trying to defend our home in a large neighborhood . I feel like if I don’t make a move that it would be like, well, I knew in my heart it was going to happen, and I just didn’t do anything to take care of it. I would be like in nazi Germany, where the people knew but did nothing to help save their self. Well, NOT ME!! I love my wife too much!! God bless everyone.

Mr. Randyfreedom sir, It was not designed to make sense. It was designed as a fifth column in this country to scout the country and provide behind the lines intelligence and make the invader’s job much, much easier. These pre-invaders, as I call them, are here gathering the most sensitive of data and info while bidding their time until they will rise up against us with a tsunami of coast to coast sabatage and treachery such as never has been see before. This will happen, count on it. thanks and Christ keep you through the coming firey trials.

    Chris S,
You are right to follow where God is leading you. I had the same experience 14 years ago, I heard the same message. My wife left me over it, and took everything in the process, it was not fun. My word to you is this; DO IT. God may have a very different plan for you than you do. If your wife doesn’t respect your leadership, He will provide one who does.
Trust what He leads you to do.

  32. Empty shelves November 5, 2014 at 4:05 am

Dave, I think there is one additional group aside from those that are hungery to be mindful of. Those without out their meds. Empty food shelves and no pharmacy. According to the CDC 70% of Americans take at least one prescriptive drug and pain killers are the number one prescription. Imagine what happens when people are in pain and going through withdrawls – this is the type of person that will walk through a wall to get what they need… Enough said.

@ Chris S..i feel i am in the same situation, although my wife has been coming around and stocking up on supplies, although i dont think enough…we have agreed though to move to another safe place, another state.we are trying to get the house ready to sell and try to move next summer..hope that its not too late by then!..I worry also about having to defend the current house. I tell her to look at the neighbors..do you think any of them are prepared?.not really, and they WILL come looking for food..t different neighbor/friends have moved away here and now its just us..pray for me and i will pray for you..Its the best, really!, i can do..

    Dave
I have been studying existing tipping points for humanity since 1987, and they are MANY. Currently I see financial collapse and EMP as the most dangerous/imminent. I have studied societal collapses going back to the Aztecs, Romans, but I happened to be subscribing to two English language Moscow newspapers when the USSR went down in 1990. Your vision is dramatically conservative.

I wrote a novel “Operation Phoenix” covering the first 30 days after a trigger event, and it too is over-conservative. No one seems to be dealing with two factors; The fact that no one in N.America under 80 has any memory/experience with a massive negative event such as the dirty 30’s. They cannot even begin to imagine those conditions, never mind what we face. Two) the world has exceeded its carrying capacity and we are surviving only because of technological advance. When the computer goes down, nothing moves. That is the problem with High Tech. I expect a 90% death rate.

I don’t really see it going down like this article expects. If 50 years ago you were actually able to show, graphically, what we have become as a society, people would have been terrified. They’d have made an effort to actively combat our spiral downwards. Same thing is happening now, though our capacity to absorb and accommodate that which is immoral, ignorant, and downright repugnant is so much higher than in just 3 previous generations. It has the potential to get worse, but for some reason I suspect our young ones growing up now, and by that I mean little kids, will be less forgiving of the society we are presently. I have some faith in them that they will be able to turn things around.

If not, I have 7 tactical shotguns, over 3000 rounds of number 2, a .357 magnum, 2 .45’s, and a .30 ’06 with a thousand yard scope. And ammo for all of them. I imagine my family will make it for a while.

    …question is…will I want to?
