Oroville Dam Nearing Collapse-Local Officials Begin Evacuations

I have received some incredibly ignorant emails regarding the condition of the Oroville Dam.  One email said the government has nothing to worry about and they have “fixed” the problem.  If the government has fixed the problem, then why are officials working on the dam 24/7?  It is this kind of moronic misinformation that could cause a massive loss of life  in the region. Perhaps nothing will happen, and I pray that is the case. However, shouldn’t precaution be the order of the day? This is expecially true because local Sacramento news is reporting that the levees are near collapse and this is independent of the situation at the Oroville Dam. And by the way, for the grossly misinformed, S. Sacramento evacuations have already begun. Here is the latest on this looming crisis of epic proportions.

National Weather Service Forecast for Oroville, CA

The National Weather Service and NOAA have issued a 7 day forecast in which there is not one day that does not call for rain. In fact, a flash flood warning remains in effect for the area.

Evacuations Have Begun for S. Sacramento, CA

Channel 3 News, in Sacramento, is reporting that evacuations are underway in S. Sacramento. No, these people are not being evacuated because the Oroville Dam could soon fail. The evacuations are in effect because the levees are near imminent collapse. Therefore, if the Oroville Dam fails, the resulting catastrophe has just been exponentially magnified. Does this remind anyone else of Katrina?

The evacuations have nothing to do with Governor Jerry Brown who has displayed a depraved indifference attitude toward the residents in the potentially dangerous 75 mile area. He responded to the local media by saying that he has nothing to say about the situation involving the dam. It should be noted that the evaucations of S. Sacramento are locally driven and the state, nor the Governor’s office have any involvement with the situation.

The TV news report can be seen here so long as the stations has the story in their rotation.

Critical Update

For the past 9 hours, the even the fake news industry has issued a warning regarding the integrity of the Oroville Dam. The news outlets include the LA Time, the Washington Post, CNBC and MSNBC.

CNBC has now issued the following report regarding the missing-in-action Govdernment Brown.

California Gov. Brown seeks federal assistance for ‘potential failure’ of Oroville Dam emergency spillway

Since the Governor has been upstaged by local evacuations already in motion in S. Sacramento, he has no choice but to “pretend” to react. Brown is a “day late and a dollar short”.  The Oroville Dam could fail at any time. This is why local authoriteis evacuated 200,000 on Sunday.

This Dam could fail at anytime and weather is not on the side of the residents. With the Sacramento/Walnut Grove levees in a near state of collapse, this could shape up to be greatest disaster in American history.  I was criticized yesterday by stating that a million lives could be at risk, 24 hours later, even the corporate controlled media is in agreement.

Perhaps, nothing will happen with regard to this dire situation. However, shouldn’t precaution and concern for human life be our first and foremost objective?
There is a conspiracy angle to all of this, but this is not the time, nor the place, to bring this out. However, in the aftermath of whatever happens, I will have plenty to say regarding Governor Brown’s very strange and indifferent attitude. However, this is not the time. The focus should be on saving lives.
In a couple of hours, I will be interviewing an eyewitness, also a member of the media, regarding his first hand observations regarding the condition of the Oroville Dam. I am anticipating publishing this interview in approximately four hours from the publishing of this report.
In the meantime, If I were in the impacted area, I would be leaving. If I had family and friends in the area, I would beg them to leave until the Federal government arrives on the scene and provides an honest evaluation because it certainly is not going to come from Jerry Brown.

Only stupid people buy houses below a dam or even in a flood plane and other high risk areas (mudslides, forest fires, etc). Real estate agents cannot be trusted ethically, worse than used car salesmen will sell you anything to get a commission. Buyer beware!

  2. Lee Breaux February 14, 2017 at 8:20 am

Good job brother! Keep them coming. It would be criminal not to sound the alarm…

  3. Art Simpson February 14, 2017 at 8:46 am

The gaping hole is not a part of the dam. It is a part of the spillway below the dam. It was obviously constructed without reinforcing and on dirt, not bedrock. True, perhaps the whole dam was built like a piece of shit like the spillway. In which case, get your stuff, sell your house for $10.00 and go to a state somewhere in America.

  4. Just Me February 14, 2017 at 8:48 am

Governor Jerry Brown loves California every bit as much as Barry Soetoro loved the 50 states.

  5. Jim February 14, 2017 at 8:57 am

Dave, if you haven’t seen it already you might what to check out survivalblog.com. JWR has a letter from a resident near Oroville. https://survivalblog.com/observations-and-lessons-from-the-oroville-dam-evacuation/

  6. David McElroy February 14, 2017 at 10:49 am

Officials to date have stated that the damage is limited to the spillway, and that the dam itself is yet sound. But I suppose what they are not saying is that they fear the huge washed out hole will start eroding uphill toward the dam proper with the continuing deluge. The public should not be driven to panic, but I suppose an orderly evacuation is proper. The dam is an earthen dam, and the collapsing spillway torrents could erode the slope uphill and undermine the dam. But the collapse of the dam is not imminent, according to state officials on site. Don’t spread panic, I say!

    Hi Dave,

Jerry Brown is an evil globalist. I wonder if his agenda is to force these poor victims of this flood into FEMA camps. If they are too late to properly vacate the area, they may have no choice. Is it possible for President Trump to remove him from office, or does he not have the authority to do so?

  8. Khl February 14, 2017 at 11:16 am

To the people of kalifornia. Remember, be careful in what you wish for. You may just get it. In your case that would be the give away government.

  9. Fred February 14, 2017 at 11:49 am

Can anyone confirm that water is coming out of the main Oroville Dam? Looking at the Feb 12th & 13th pictures/videos, I am seeing muddy water all the way to the base of the Oroville Dam…..so if water was coming out, wouldn’t it be clear at least part of the way to where the failed concrete spillway enters the Feather River?

If no water is coming out, why not? I am not reading anything about that…anywhere. Days ago I thought I read one place that something was blocking the Turbines? So, if you wanted the Dam to fail….wouldn’t this be the best way? California is the land of fruits and nuts, so anything is possible.

  10. Jon February 14, 2017 at 12:07 pm

However, on the other hand, if those 4th Century Goat F&%kng Rag Head Muslims decided to blow out the entire sections of the Folsom and Oroville Dam…

Then Sacramento would have a problem…

But I’m assured that TPTB are watching for Mohamed and his Briefcase.

Makes you wonder about the rest of America’s infrastructure: bridges, tunnels, and mass transit rail systems.

  12. Philip February 14, 2017 at 2:43 pm

just a silly question – which does California need more, that $64 billion Super Train from LA to San Francisco (never mind the already-eye popping cost overruns and boondoggles), or dam spillways built with rebar next time around? (hint – rebar will not cost tens – or hundreds – of billions of dollars)

  13. Vic February 14, 2017 at 4:38 pm

Let’s see! Millions of libtards vote for Jerry Brown. Jerry Brown uses infrastructure funds to give to illegals. The dam fails. A million libtard Jerry Brown voters die. I frankly don’t see any problem here. Minus a million CA voters can only mean an improvement in the human gene pool!,

  14. Shea February 14, 2017 at 4:47 pm

Jerry Boy surely must be rethinking a Calexit move.

  15. Mark February 14, 2017 at 5:30 pm

I thought they wanted to secede(?) from the Union. Why are the asking for Federal money?

  16. Ed February 14, 2017 at 8:14 pm

Wonder what will happen to their homeowners/flood insurance rates or will it even be available?

As a Northern Ca. resident and observer and speaking with my son who is familiar with damns while working for the Hetch Hetchy water system and reservoir for the City of San Francisco. His concern was the emergency spill way and the integrity of the footing it was built on. Bed Rock or what ever. The Damn appears to be sound. If the lake is brought down 50 ft as is proposed it would release pressure on the spill way. Depending on the weather and the incoming water of course. The work at least from the local new has been beefing up the spill way, with not a lot of info to what damage could have occurred. The levees however are a whole different ball game. My family lives in South Sac, and have not heard anything about evacuations. Possibly around the Walnut Grove area due to the possible breach in the Tyler Island levee. Walnut Grove is South West of Sac bit still considered Sac. County.

May the Lord watch over you, and everyone in the affected paths, heck EVERYONE everywhere period.

  20. Jodi Pinasco February 15, 2017 at 1:28 am

Thank you for all your hard work. My family lives in North Highland just above Sacramento. They have a new baby and more of my family is staying at a campground on the river visiting them! The campground has not been evacuated and my family is in complete denial about the severity of the situation. They think I am being lime chicken little “the Dam is falling the Dam is falling”. And they laugh me off. My brother even works in Yuba and is “put out” by all the hoopla.
What is wrong with these people? I don’t know. I have put numbers to it for them and will give them to you, it backs up both yours and Mr. Prestons numbers.
Falling water unrestrained in normal flow is a average rate of 32 ft per second. Average flow of mudslides is 11 ft per second. If you take the slow mudslide average flow it will reach north highland in 8 hours, there is a discharge wave that will ride the top of the water that flows at an average of 3 times faster than the original flow it will reach them in 2 hours 40 minutes. That is best case. If you take the other figure average on the more unrestricted not so much mud flow the main body of water will hit them in 2.05 hours and the discharge wave will hit them in 41 minutes. This is all controlled studies, as you know water gains volume and speed once it gets going and this situation is so unpredictable because of its uncontrolled nature.
Also I live on a lake, the lakes square catch miles that I live on is 62x’s smaller than lake Oroville. For every inch of rain we get our lake raises a foot. If you take that figure that would mean of every inch of rain/snow melt that lake Oroville gets it would raise 63 feet. They spent 16hours of hard release over (100 cubic feet per second) and lowered the lake 11 feet. They cannot lower this lake enough before the rain comes again. The Dam spillway will be compromised. My family won’t listen but maybe somebody else will. Please feel free to check my numbers out.
North highland is 316,800 feet from the dam. My lake catch area square mile is 63.28. Lake Oroville catch area is 3950.0. I live on flatter land, but we get a lot of rain.
    Thanks Dave stay well,

There is another video on you tube that is worth watching. “Oroville dam” 12 secrets they are not telling you. Plus video footage exclusive. By logicbeforeauthority.
    Thanks again,

  22. Jodi Pinasco February 15, 2017 at 2:13 am

I forgot to mention. Lake Oroville holds an estimated 11.5 trillion gallons of water. When lake Teton broke an estimated 80 billion gallons of water flowed over an 90 mile radius. Sacramento is 65 miles from the Oroville dam. My math might be off on how much water is in Lake Oroville but the facts on the Teton is not.
    Stay safe,

  23. Brant February 15, 2017 at 2:46 pm

Are we certain it isn’t another government red-flag event being used to divert attention away from other pending disasters like nibiru in September. The less people who know about it the less chance of social breakdown

  24. Brant February 15, 2017 at 3:10 pm

Why was S. Sacramento build in the path of an emergency drainage system

  25. ax February 16, 2017 at 7:50 am

    @ Jodi
I checked the youtube video and it was taken down as of 2/16. Censorship strikes again.
