Attack On Arizona’s Internet Was the Beta Test for the Implementation of Martial Law

At approximately noon on February 25, 2015, the Internet went down in a wide swath ranging from just north of Phoenix stretching to Flagstaff, Arizona. Internet service was restored the following day around 1pm local time.

The very first reports I received about the outage, coming out of Wickenburg and Prescott, was that the ISP from Century Link went down because a car crashed into a transformer. Shortly after that, reports stated that a construction crew hit a power line causing Internet service to go down. From the Phoenix media, we now know that this was the work of “vandals” who discovered where cables, buried several feet underground, were located in the midst of rough terrain. These “vandals” subsequently cut through the Internet cables which were inches to a foot thick and this was the cause  of this massive outage.

The event had a crippling effect on local communities from central to northern Arizona.

-911 service and the communications of first responders were taken down.

-Point of sale debit/credit card transactions could not be initiated due to the outage.

-ATM’s did not work.

-Banks were not able to access their computers and were forced to issue paper receipts for any deposit.

-All cell phone providers were inoperable except for Verizon Wireless.

-Most cable companies were not able to carry programming (e.g. Phoenix TV stations) due to the takedown of live streaming. The same was also true for many radio stations.

In short, businesses, schools and personal lives were totally disrupted. Yet, the national coverage afforded to this major event was negligible as I discovered after calling friends and colleagues from across the country to gauge their reaction. As of yesterday afternoon, most people had not heard about this event. I am not surprised as similar events transpired in both Florida and Oklahoma, AT THE SAME TIME! Steve Quayle shared the following email with me last night which described a similar event in Oklahoma:

I just read with interest the Q Alert about phone and internet being out at mid-day from north Phoenix to Flagstaff yesterday.  We dropped internet here in NW Oklahoma (outside Woodward) about mid-day yesterday as well. It happened twice, about an hour later for about 20 minutes at a time.  No explanation was given by the provider (Pioneer Cellular and Internet). We have cell service, for which the data was messed up, but the towers were still operative.

About that same time, NOAA Space Weather lost data for several hours … complete blanks in their monitoring systems.

Interesting this is all going on about the same time the FCC was preparing to take over the internet.

Whatever hit Arizona on February 25th, also hit two other states at about the same time. This was a well-coordinated attack.

The Key Word of the Day Is “Vandals”

The media has been very uniform in describing this act as the work of “vandals”.

-Independent Channel 3 referred to the outage as the work of

-Phoenix CBS Channel 5 also used the word “vandals”.

-Phoenix Fox News, Channel 10, described this as the work of “vandals”.

-Phoenix NBC, Channel 12, said this Internet take down was perpetrated by “vandals”.

-Phoenix ABC, Channel 15, also used the word “vandals”.

-AZ Central, the website for the Arizona Republic used the word “vandals” to describe the origin of the attack.

-Even the BBC and Russia Today used the word “vandals”.

For those of us that have covered events such as this, we can often smell a cover-up when we see the repetitive use of a key word or phrase. In this case, the key word is “vandals”.  In this instance, the implied use of the word “vandal” is designed to indicate that whomever attacked these cables, presumably owned by Century Link, were amateurs who were engaged in some kind of prank. As I investigated further, it became clear that this was a well-coordinated and well planned attack by persons with expertise related to the attack. Further, whomever did this had to have had specialized equipment to cut through these cables. The simple act of just finding where these cables also required specialized knowledge.

My Professional Contacts Weigh-In

This was also an “in-and-out-job” which left no clues and no traces. Amateurish “vandals” with nothing better to do did not take down the Internet in the manner described. That is also the opinion of several of my contacts who would be, or would have tasked with assisting in the investigation and the restoration of service.

Nearly two decades ago, I was a Maricopa County Volunteer First Responder. I did so until DHS took control of the operation in 2002. As such, I received specialized training related to various forms of terrorist attacks and the likely response protocols to each attack. Subsequently, I developed many friendships and contacts in this business. Yesterday, I contacted a dozen of these people and I heard back from four. Two are still active and two are retired but still retain volunteer status related to their expertise. All five of us are unanimous in that this was not the work of vandals, this was an attack requiring inside information, specific training and specialized equipment. Two of my contacts believed that this was a beta test performed by Muslim terrorists (e.g. ISIS). Two others thought this was a dry run rehearsal for a preemptive strike upon the grid on the eve of war (i.e. Russians and/or Chinese). Additionally, at briefings held by the FBI in 2005, two of the men stated that they were told if it was necessary to invoke martial law, they would take down all communications so dissidents targeted for arrest could not warn each other. Additionally, the Phoenix media is reporting that the Phoenix PD was in charge of investigating the vandalism. However, one of the four people I spoke with stated that DHS and the FBI were on the scene and were controlling the investigation. The Phoenix PD was releasing prepared media releases and were repeatedly using the word vandals.

Who’s Is Responsible?

I reside only seven miles south of the impacted area. I have learned from some locals that accessing the sight of the crime is not possible. Security personnel, without any identifying insignias, were in place and were turning unauthorized people back. I have been told that this was not a typical crime scene and until late yesterday afternoon, this had become a highly secure area.

As I contemplated the opinions of my fellow and former first responders, I have tried to determine who is correct and who was likely responsible and what was the motivation for the attack.

Fifteen months ago, I reported that, against all common sense, the Russians were being allowed to participate in the highly secure and classified Grid Ex II drills in November of 2013. Since this was the period of time that President Obama was attempting to justify the invasion of Syria, and Putin was threatening nuclear retaliation for doing so, I was among those who questioned the logic of allowing the Russians to learn the intricacies of power grid organization.

Nearly one month ago, I reported the depth and degree that the Obama administration had been penetrated by individuals with clear and undeniable connections to the Muslim Brotherhood along with their influence in DHS and the Fusion Threat Centers.

Two weeks ago, I reported that DHS has assumed control of all intelligence gathering information and this meant that operationalizing a mobilization effort to secretly arrest dissidents, under NDAA provisions (i.e. the Red List spoken of many times by Doug Hagmann and Steve Quayle), was now very likely based upon a hostility rating known as the “Threat Matrix Score”. I further reported that there are two programs designed to round up people who are viewed as a danger to the status quo. The two operations are labeled “Operation BOA”, as in boa constrictor, and “Operation Lightening Strike”. I have some operational details, but at this point they are still sketchy. Suffice it to say that Operation Lightening is the 3AM round up of all perceived dissident journalists and even some local politicians. This will be accomplished on a single night of terror. Operation BOA is a more deliberate process and will focus on more non-media threats such as outspoken veterans, gun rights activists, etc.Martial law will not be called martial law, it will be labeled as “Continuity of Government”. The announcement of the procedures designed to enhance the “Continuity of Government” policies will be made by a four star General from NORTHCOM. ”

Let’s not forget that when was Janet Napolitano was leaving DHS she warned that attack upon the grid was not a matter of if, but when.

Napolitano did not issue this warning once, but twice before leaving DHS.

“A massive and “serious” cyber attack on the U.S. homeland is coming, and a natural disaster, the likes of which the nation has never seen is also likely and on its way.”

Outgoing DHS Director, Janet Napolitano, August 27, 2013

In  seemingly unrelated actions, yesterday, the Obama administration enacted two more unconstitutional Obama decrees: (1) Obama is using executive actions to impose gun control on the nation, targeting the top-selling rifle in the country, the AR-15 style semi-automatic, with a ban on 5.56mm ammo on a fast track, immediately driving up the price of the bullets; (2) The FCC took complete control over the Internet (private citizen communication) yesterday. The first action is clearly a move to remove citizens’ ability to defend themselves against the forces of tyranny at some future date. The second move is designed to cut off the head of the Patriot movement and severely impair communications. These are both martial law related actions.

Connecting the Dots

Both Steve Quayle and I agree that we are witnessing the introduction of the “Red List” strategy. What happened in Arizona, Florida and Oklahoma was a martial law preparation beta test designed to simultaneously take down communications. Why would DHS want to take down communications? When the Red List roundups begin under Operation Lightening Strike, the powers that be do not want to allow their intended round up targets to be able to warn each other. Further, the crash of the ATM’s and point of sale transactions limits one’s ability to go on the run.

How do Russians factor into this? We know from surveys done by various organizations (29 Palms military base) that American troops cannot be counted on to fire upon American citizens. Therefore, the Army manuals pertaining to FEMA camps call for the use of foreign assets. This would be the Russian troops that I have repeatedly reported are in the US training on American soil for martial law implementation. Why do you think they were allowed to participate in the Grid Ex II war games?

What happened over a three state region was not the actions of “vandals”. This was a highly coordinated and sophisticated attack upon certain aspects of our grid designed to take down communications and commerce. I suspect that Russian Spetsnaz were the boots on the ground for this beta test in preparation for martial law. The only question which truly remains is how far away are we from complete implementation of this operation?

My name is Rick and I live in Alpine Texas, a small very rural town in the Big Bend (far West Texas).

We have at least 3 local internet providers which include ATT and our internet went down (specifically ATT) on Wednesday around noon for 8 hours.

Being a spirit filled born again believer and fully awake for 20 years, I was immediately suspicious about the downed net and curious if problems were occurring around the country, especially in light of the secret FCC vote yesterday.

I got on the phone and began calling around town to confirm is was a network problem and not my computer (or modem). I found that ATT was the main provider that was down reaching other towns near mine, as well as other internet providers that were experiencing problems.

The network was restored by 8pm Wednesday night. I have not heard or been given any kind of explanation for the failure.

Your article posted today “Attack On Arizona’s Internet” confirmed my suspicions.

By the way, our little town here has the highest concentration of federal LE per capita that any other in the country.

    In Christ,

I remember Art Bell once saying that ham radio operators would still be able to make contact in a down electrical situation. Something to consider getting.

Dave, thank you for always sharing what information you have. Unfortunately, I personally feel that within the next few months alternative media is going be cracked down upon, especially now that net neutrality has passed. It won’t just be the big names like you though. It’ll probably encompass even the small-time blogger.

Also, if you’re interested in bible prophecy at all looking into the blood moons of this year would be an entertaining topic, even if you don’t believe in the mass hype about things like that.

Thanks again Dave, and may God watch over us all.

Great article but let’s bring it to a head. The problem is the government employees that carry out these acts of war against a defenseless population. This is what a mentally castrated population deserves when they glorify the very people that will be killing them. It took a government employee or government contractor to cut those cables and then orchestrate the cover up to the above mentioned mental midget populace. Who do you think the government is hiring to do the long distance sniping, run the fema camps, and round up the gun owners: Veterans, that’s who. This is what happens when we worship a grease rag with stars and stripes on it instead of raising God fearing, grow your own food, mind your own business families. We get what we deserve, and it is on its way, and now with no communications to warn each other we won’t even know it’s on its way to our front door. I dare say this too, if the internet goes down nationwide, when there is still plenty of food and water on the shelves, people will still start killing each other out of withdrawal symptoms from not having their video games etc. Think not, stick around. This entire scenario is far deeper, complex, morbid, and sinister than most can imagine. Good luck living with kids that have no clickers to click. thanks

  7. Warrior54 February 27, 2015 at 7:41 am

Lets see, I am going to cut through cables not knowing whether or not they contain high voltage, then as a prank, i have the presence of mind to leave no tire or footprint tracks? Right this stinks to high heaven!! Its quite evident, and as a former Deputy, and Police Officer it just dont fly!

  8. Ideas Time February 27, 2015 at 7:46 am

    Hi Dave,

Not to be picky but the two pictures displayed are not the same site and may not even be for fiber optic cable. I assume the photos used were just an example. I use to do underground utilities and they would be buried at least three feet deep so digging them up would be a job assuming you had a locator to find them. These sites look like a wash out the bottom one and who knows about the top one.

As to shutting down the internet for a round up of the red list, I would think that if the internet goes down for any period of time that would be taken as a get ready call and put everyone on notice.

In fact the word to be spread is that if the internet and other communications go down expect the attacks to begin on the red list. What’s the saying. Time to lock and load

I have “Dishnet”, with the groundlink in San Diego County. My internet froze between 1:10 and 1:30pm PST. I tested propaganda sites like Fox, WND and CNN, and they were also unavailable.

  12. Birdman66 February 27, 2015 at 8:20 am

The Internet was designed “Not” to be taken down in this fashion as there are multiple routes signals can take if they can not get through on a certain line. Yet we know from Hurricane Katrina that FEMA went in and shut down New Orleans leo’s communication equipment. It has also been revealed that ISP’s have a kill switch for their servers. This was probably a test to see how people would react!

  13. iwitness02 February 27, 2015 at 8:27 am

The Holy Grail of freedom lovers everywhere. When? Myself, I am thankful for everyday that normal infrastructure still works. Our rights are under attack 24/7. This is at least a clue on the timing. As in right now. I am beginning to hear some new voices sounding the alarm from the younger generations. This is good news. If young and old can work together, that would really increase our strength. At a time when all our natural rights are being converted to government issued (limited) privileges that we pay for. In my life time I have seen a lot of people come and go through DC. Yet we have never changed course. The people are always under attack through more and more laws that only the common people are forced to abide in. The ones who introduce the laws on our behalf, live well above them. And they always seem peevish about something. (usually made up) So we always need more laws and taxes to fund them. There is a pattern here. But we all know its just a coincidence. The fact that our rights are disappearing is natural, you know, like evaporation. ????? That would only sound reasonable to a politician.

  14. Russians February 27, 2015 at 8:31 am

You point out all the symptoms but never the root cause. It’s common sense.

BTW folks, this is the SECOND time in a little over a month, maybe shorter, time it has happened. I live in Payson Az, ans the last time they blamed it on a squirrel! Seriously, a squirrel ate through the cables.
NO one up here believes it was an animal. The banks closed last time and no atm’s, no grocery stores, cell phones, land lines or CELL phones…now how did Verizon lose service from a fiber optic eating squirrel!! Nope, this is a beta test and scary it hits us up here, there’s not much up here guys.. 2 x times in a few weeks is bizarre.. should we be more worried than most folks are up here anyway?

Until the Federal Government, all facets, are eliminated and removed, nothing will change. It isn’t the Russians, or the Joos, or Isreal. It’s the Federal Government!!

They have been ready since around 2007 to implement their “Global Genocide” Program as per the “Georgia Guidestones” (Global population of ~7 BILLION down to 500 Million [or much LESS] is the GOAL.)

Power out, dollar collapse, no water, no food, WW3, etc.

But God will NOT let them succeed in their EVIL plans.
(God is holding them back so we have more time.)

Unless they Repent, they will be Judged and punished.

Everyone on Earth will be Judged by His HOLY WORDS.

    John 12:48 (KJV)

48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth NOT My Words, hath one that judgeth him: the WORD that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

Dave, now that it’s glaringly obvious how important accessing information is, would it be possible if you set up an IP-address only way to access your site? (Stevequayle, SurvivalBlog, and Natural News all have set up and state the IP addresses for their respective sites — in SBlog’s case, they have two.)

May we request this please for your site?
You are consistently giving us life-saving information and I just hope your site will still be accessible for at least a short time if attacked.

(I can attest in previous cases where survivalblog.com was under attack and inaccessible, but I was still able to access it using the IP-Add only.)

Many of us pray for God’s strong and constant protection over you and your family. We pray for not even a moment of uncomfort to come to you nor your family as you continue to be a Watchman in the truest sense.

We pray that any weapon attempted to be formed against you fails before it even reaches the action state. All plans to bring harm you will fail when they’re still thoughts and those thoughts to harm you will flee those thinking it. In Jesus’ Name we pray these things for our Watchman Dave Hodges & his family.

I’ve been thinking this morning, and that’s always dangerous for me, but the bottom line is, if we have to have the internet to communicate with each other then we are already defeated. What the hell ever happened to word of mouth. We, the people, haven’t had any real conversation with each other in over 20 years. We have to get out of this mode of sub-communication and learn to look each other in the eye again or all is lost. We aren’t even human anymore, we’re just life support systems for keyboards and cell phones. God help us!

  32. toejam February 27, 2015 at 11:59 am

Some of the comments are right on about taking down communications prior to attack.
(When the American imperial storm troopers attacked Serbia during the reign of the Clintonistos, with so-called depleted uranium weapons, one of first bombings was to take out the TV communications in the Serbian capital.)
Toejam was informed that in this part of the country other methods were used to screw with the internet connections other than cutting cables. The cable cutting was a diversion to cover up the more sinister methods of taking down communications.
The toejam believes that various methods were used to screw with internet connections nation wide and this has been going on for several weeks in various degrees. The government wants to know what is most effective with the minimum amount of effort.
Here are some of the methods of this ongoing weakening of the American people.
    1. Slow poisoning through food additives, chemtrails, medicines and vaccines. Otherwise, murder in slow motion.
    2. Poisoning of the mind through guilt-trip lies from Hollywood, TV, controlled corporate media and government schools and even lower seats of learning called universities. Need mention be made of the new dispensation of grade school sex education much to the delight of the third sex.
    3. Poisoning race relations via race hustlers and more guilt-trip lies about the evil white man from all mentioned in #2.
    4. Allowing millions of every low IQ, disease packing Tom, Dick and Jose on the planet to illegally invade this nation.
    5. And last but not least playing patty cake with Russian and even Chinese personal to help our Lords and Masters to take down the people of this country after the sufficient softening up.
    6. Then the Coup de grace* of taking out any potential leaders, intellectuals and known dissidents, via the methods used by the Bolsheviks, chairman Moa, Pol Pot and others, that could lead a potential counter revolution.
*A coup de grâce is a death blow to end the suffering of a severely wounded person or animal. It may be a mercy killing of civilians or soldiers, friends or enemies, …
(Can there be a doubt the American people are wounded in body and spirit that are being set by the elitists for the killing and culling of the American human herd.)
    “Optimism is cowardice”

“The only question which truly remains is how far away are we from complete implementation of this operation?”

    Probably not far:
*’Moderate Muslims have a green light to call in US aerial aid against Assad’s loyalists.
*ISIS has gotten sufficient support to deploy boots on the ground.
Never mind, the air strikes have been targeting areas Assad’s Loyalists are advancing and ISIS retreating predominantly…
*Ukraine is getting US weaponry as well as the US conducting a military parade and drill 300 yards from the Russian border in the Baltic Sea region.

    Brandon Smith is right.

Please shed some light on this for me.

“Nearly two decades ago, I was a Maricopa County Volunteer First Responder. I did so until DHS took control of the operation in 2002.”

Are these the people associated with government-sponsored organized stalking? And now DHS is involved and they target “suspected domestic terrorists”/ people placed on a watch-list?

American Patriots are being increasingly labeled as terrorists and there is a huge network that stalks and harasses them.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated…

  35. Jay in UK February 27, 2015 at 12:47 pm

Dave, I think you’re 100% on the money with the thought that they will have a comms shut-down to cover for the round-up. It takes me back to the now declassified British government’s “War Book” from the 1980s, in which dissidents and untrustworthies were to be rounded up and interned during the very sensitive “transition to war” phase, when continuity of government was to take precedence over every other aspect of running the country. Britain would become, as one historian called it, the “take no chances state”.Meanwhile, the military would make last minute movements, cancel leave and recall recent retirees, as would the police. Travel restrictions might be imposed to free up hotels and the transport infrastructure. And something would have to be done to secure emergency medical supplies…

As far as the US goes, you have NDAA which gives the US military complete martial law powers when the time comes, and you have ongoing joint ops training taking place between military and police units across America (which is not an easy thing to master – ask the Chinese, they’re still struggling to get to grips with it in terms of their naval and land forces). And of course, you have things like MAIN CORE which is where the lists come in. I have no doubt they intend to exterminate the “movers and shakers”, but going by the UK plans, they may also be intending to use dissidents (and just about anybody else they can coerce) as slave workers for a time after the first strikes occur, to probe radioactive areas. Young couples were to be spared and given priority treatment, whereas people in their mid 30s and onward were to be deemed fit for all kinds of horrible tasks.

So… I say, if you have a nationwide web down / comms down event, I would take that as the superlative red flag to assume not just your own imminent arrest, but also that the nukes will be en route within weeks. The key to countering this would be to have adequate awareness of unfolding world events, for example, such as troop buildups in eastern Europe or even mass military exercises going live and say, the Baltics being invaded or smaller NATO countries like Norway being openly victimised by Russia (because I am assuming Russia and China will make the first move in WW3). However, with net neutrality, it may not be possible to know what is going on, which is why now might be the time to invest in alternative means of communication with the outside world…

  36. Jay in UK February 27, 2015 at 12:59 pm

Can I just add, as an additional comment about Russian troops, it is my view that Russian interests and those of the Western elites dovetail into one when it comes to the subject of a pre-WW3 round-up. For their own separate, selfish reasons, both parties want the armed patriots out of the way.

However, I am less inclined to accept the view that a Russian special forces presence in the US is necessary because American troops would not fire on US civilians. I believe there is abundant evidence to suggest that they will do so, because soldiers in most major nations on earth throughout history have repeatedly been called on to do so and duly obeyed. And not just soldiers, but police also. I grew up in Northern Ireland during the Troubles as part of the pro-UK majority population, and was dismayed to see the police, who lived among us and who took the IRA on with our full backing, turn and batter us into the ground when ordered to do so by London. Sure, there were a few who resigned or disobeyed, but the vast majority went along to get along, and I believe the same will happen in the USA with an increasingly PC sanitised military and ever-worsening, out-of-control police hostility towards the public. So I say, assume the worst about your police and your army. In fact, assume the worst about your most trusted friends and family too, and make your plans accordingly.

    Hello Dave.

Sometimes, I think I’m a funny guy, and I frequently say stupid things, and dumb things.

As I read the first couple of paragraphs of this article, the word “Spetsnaz” popped into my head. But then I thought, “What do I know, right? I’m frequently an idiot with a penchant for the inane.”

The, I saw the word “Spetsnaz” in your conclusion.

You know, when bright minds like yours chime with mine, it feels great!

Hello Dave, I wanted to let you know that your knowledge is not completely lost on the younger generations. Im 27 and I have been visiting your site for over a year now. (Been awake for a few years) Your information is invaluable, and I am eternally greatful for you. I do my best to share what I’ve learned with others, but that task isn’t always an easy one. (which, of course, you are well aware of)

Time is short, and it seems as if it’s getting shorter everyday. I feel that this, and other recent events are the last minute preps of our “overlords”. Take as much freedom away as possible so when it’s all gone, most people won’t even notice. I read some MSM articles about the outage, and then scrolled through the comments. It’s amazing how people will believe whatever they’re told. So many comments stating how we need to find the vandals responsible. That’s the exact response they will have when the next big false flag happens. Everyone will demand justice be brought to those responsible. They will jump on board with whatever agenda the elites have, as long as you tug those heart strings hard enough.

Thank God for others like us. We will need each other when the time comes.
Our future is not set in stone. They may think all is under control, but they have a bigger fight then they expected coming their way.

    I’ve recently rewritten the lyrics to Lee Greenwoods God bless the USA, and thought I’d share it with you;

What if tomorrow everything was taken
You worked for all your life
And you had to stand and fight
To protect your children and your wife

I call on all the patriots
    Who are living here today
Cause we still believe in freedom
And they can’t take that away

This is a message to all the Americans
Who know they’re really not free
    Because of the men
Who try to dictate our country
So we need to stand up
    And say to them
You can’t take my rights from me
    Grab your gun
    And defend this land
    Take back the USA

    From the lakes of Minnesota
    To the hills of Tennessee
    Across the plains of Texas
    From sea to shining sea
    From Detroit down to Houston
    And New York to LA
Well there’s strength in every American heart
So it’s time we stand and say

This is a message to all the Americans
Who know they’re really not free
    Because of the men
Who try to dictate our country
So we need to stand up
    And say to them
You can’t take my rights from me
    Grab your gun
    And defend this land
    Take back the USA

Be alert and practice situational awareness, friends. Not if, but when, communications suddenly go down (cell phones and Internet), it is probable the Crunch has just begun, and you will know the Second American Revolution is about to commence.

Stock up on food, water, weapons, pet food, camping supplies, and meds. Dave had an excellent idea to get your prescriptions filled regularly but use half the dosage, squirreling away half for the coming siege.

Read Matthew CH 24. The Tribulation may have already begun, especially in some parts of the world.

Obama is the Destroyer, make no mistake.

Ham radios help, or at least can be used to listen for info.

Wood stoves, pressure canning food, food dehydrators (Nesco American Harvest is a good one), heirloom vegetables, various propane tanks any stoves, lamps any grills to use with them…. What else….. birdseed to attract birds u can shoot and eat, hunting skills, gardening skills, old fashioned hand pump wells, small groups of like minded people with valuable skill sets, pre-65 silver coin. Etc. Etc.

Now is the time to tighten up, sharpen your minds, and get right with the Lord.

The Psalms can be comforting as well. Try Psalm 37.

The pictures provided by the MSM are clearly of two different sites. Are they claiming one site?

Different size cable, different color and different size conduit. Neither of the sites are fresh digs. Rocks clean, dirt not recently disturbed, rock sizes different and I could go on an on.

These photos are bs and confirms this was not the cause of the problem. Like I said I use to do underground utilities and these photos are frauds.

Who ever provided them as evidence is lying to the public.

  53. ArizonaMilitiaDotCom February 27, 2015 at 7:19 pm

The news media has been playing this whole event down, but my wife and I were right in the middle of it.

The media is reporting that Flagstaff’s 911 system remained up. That might have been true up in Coconino County, but 911 went down completely here in Yavapai County. Our 911 service went down along with every other feature of the landline telephone system. We could not even dial “0” to get an Operator.

On Wednesday 25 February 2015, northern Arizona experienced a complete and total breakdown of all Internet and landline telephone service. Most cell phones stopped working, too. Verizon customers still had service, but the cell towers got jammed up with everybody trying to make calls all at the same time. Some of them could only text. This went on for nearly an entire work day.

This event turned out to be a pretty good test of our response to the early stages of a “grid down’ situation.

I became aware of the outage at around 11:45 hours Wednesday. I was due to clock in to my work-from-home job at noon, so I noticed that the Internet was down. I immediately attempted to contact our cable Internet provider to report the outage, but my Centurylink landline telephone gave me nothing but a fast busy signal, both for local calls and for toll-free long distance calling.

The fact that both Centurylink and cable Internet were down at the same time (two entirely different service providers) raised the hair on the back of my neck. I went to our radio room and fired up our Amateur Radios. “HAM” radio was
already quite popular in Yavapai County before we moved here, and has grown steadily ever since. My wife and I are both licensed Operators, and we volunteer with our county’s Amatuer Radio Emergency Communications group

Over the course of the next 2 hours, more Amateur Radio Operators began hopping onto the three different repeaters that we routinely use every day. That’s how we found out how widespread the outage really was.

One of those Operators is the wife of a reporter for our local newspaper, and she was still able to text her husband and relay info to us . By 1400 hours just about every Amateur Radio Operator in Yavapai County knew pretty much what was going on.

We received reports of banks closing and even of grocery stores shutting their doors due to not being able to transact business without an Internet connection. People could not get cash out of the ATMs. That development does not bode well for our future well-being, if the grocery stores won’t even stay open long enough for the panic buying to begin.

Retail stores across the Verde Valley started closing up before nightfall.

A good friend of ours who works in law enforcement told me (after the Internet came back online) that there had been several fistfights at the gas stations in town. So, there was violence, but it was just boneheads fighting over gasoline that they could not have paid for anyway.

My wife returned home as soon as she discovered what was happening. I put on my “outdoor work clothes”, pulled my M4 out of the safe, slung my “low threat” magazine carrier behind me, and settled in to monitor the local FM broadcast radio station, TV news, my radio scanner, and the Amateur Radio traffic. There wasn’t any phone or Internet, and the over-the-air broadcast TV channels were still pumping out those stupid soap operas, talk shows, and other vapid drivel, so there wasn’t a whole lot else for us to do.

Here’s a tip: make sure that you have a good outdoor TV antenna and a mast to put it on. Once cable Tv goes down, you won’t be able to monitor over-the-air television broadcasts without one. Believe it or not, there are plenty of local televisions stations that still broadcast over the airwaves, just like they used to. Although they have nearly all switched to digital instead of analog broadcasts, so you are going to need a different antenna than your Grand-dad’s old “laundry hanger”.

A couple of our neighbors drove over in the late afternoon to ask what was going on. Since they knew that we had grid-independent radio communications, I was able to let them know the the straight scoop.

The fact that banks were shuttered, grocery stores were closing, and the 911 system was completely non-functional were the topics of discussion. We knew that if the 911 system stayed down past nightfall, we were going to see a spike in criminal activity through the night. If no one could call 911, and none of the grid-dependent home alarm systems were communicating, then it would be like that movie “The Purge” pretty darn quickly.

So we just planned out how to post a guard force for our very rural neighborhood. The rest of the USA might have to
suffer from the ridiculous anti-self-defense laws that encumber our fellow Citizens with mountains of bureaucracy, endless red tape, and hoops to jump through just to obtain an “approved” semi-automatic firearm with a magazine limited to ten rounds, but we don’t have those kinds of stupid restrictions here in Arizona.

To say that we are all “well armed” would be a gross understatement. AR15-pattern rifles are well-stocked and in the display case at our local Wal-Mart. Our local gun stores
look more like well-stocked military Armories.

Realizing that the electric grid might be next to go down, I filled both our bathtubs with water, popped a load of laundry into the washing machine, and began filling extra containers with well water. Our well pump is still dependent upon the grid electric, but weren’t going to go thirsty, that was for sure. And we were going to have clean clothes for a while.

Our Amateur radios are powered from a transportable battery box with 1500 amp-hours of power. During normal times, that battery system is charged from the grid electric in our house. When the grid electric goes down, the battery box charges from our solar panel rig. We have used that solar system to keep our radios and one laptop running for 24 hours at a time.

The lesson learned was that there are way too many people who are way too dependent upon their electronic gadgets and the interdependent systems that make them work. If you cannot go a single day without checking your Twitter, Facebook, and text messages, you are in for a major life-changing event when the Internet and phones go down permanently.

This was just the Internet and phones, people! Our grid electric stayed on the whole time. Yet people began freaking out and resorting to violence in less than an hour.

We just simply cannot count on the majority of the people around us to act responsibly, or even rationally, once a *full*
breakdown of society and services occurs. Those people are likely to completely lose their minds in less than 6 hours,
judging from their response Wednesday to something as minor as the Internet and phones going down. I fully expect them to be even worse after 24, 48, and 72 hours.

But here at my house we just hunkered down, armed ourselves, listened, and waited. We did not panic simply because we are well situated and provisioned, we have an alternate means of communications, we have had years of preparation beforehand, and we *had a plan*.

I read a comment that pointed out that they can locate a radio to within three feet. Remember the movie First Blood. They did just that and that movie is what 30 years old or more? The question is where does that leave us? Bottom line if the power goes out for more than a few hours along with phone service, it is game on. False flags may in fact have unintended consequences for the guys pulling them off. We are all being warned about how fast the system falls apart and stores and banks close.

  56. Thistle February 27, 2015 at 9:10 pm

In Payson, AZ all communications were down on Wed., Feb 25th from approx 11am through 6:30pm. This same scenario occurred in mid December, I believe on a Wednesday also and the believed culprit or “vandal” suspect was a squirrel. We, of course, presumed the same little varmit had chewed through the fiber optic cables again. This is another example of lying journalism and TV “news” reporters assuming we all have become blind, dumb sheep.

  57. mg February 27, 2015 at 11:26 pm

Interesting theory. But to echo another commentor, the pictures shown of conduit exposed in the washed out creek bed were not from the az fiber cut. I work for the phone company in az. It’s a small world here amongst us techs and according to one who was on site, those pics do not match. The media will use whatever images they can to make the story more interesting when the actual footage doesn’t do their story justice. Also, the “specialized equipment” to make the cut didn’t need to be anything more than the average cordless reciprocating saw. Cable cuts happen every day around the country. And copper thieves go to great extremes to steal cable in rural areas… sometimes they cut fiber thinking it is copper. There’s plenty of theories out there but I think the term vandal is closer to the truth than a conspiracy.

  58. Philip February 27, 2015 at 11:32 pm

This is the sort of thing we should discuss over a large mug of English tea during the wee hours, Mr. Hodges. This takes some face-to-face. I moved to Kingman on my 58th birthday in 2008. “They” followed me from Las Vegas with unwanted and illegal law enforcement attentions, including breaking into my home in Kingman. Libel laws prevent me from naming names here. Let’s put it this way – when the #2 cop at a mid-size police department is summarily fired under a lame excuse, what do you think? I was arrested for telephoning them for abuses committed. The owner of Ajax Bail Bonds, whose services I had utilised, afterwards blew his wife’s head off in her Las Vegas hospital room, then turned the gun on himself to make it a two-fer. Joe Stack flew into an IRS building and – lo and behold – FBI and fire department were on the scene before you could say “what the hell”. Gabrielle Giffords and 18 others were killed and wounded by Jared what’s-his-name in Tuscon, while that 6’2″ guy in suit and tie was arrested on scene immediately afterwards as his handler – a story disappeared very, very quickly. Anyway, lately – in the absence of any other efforts to lay truth out there – my few postings with you haven’t constituted all that I have done. I have made known their assets and their crimes used against me, including a letter to the Kingman Daily Miner the day before Arizona’s internet fiber optics cable was cut. It was one of those detailed undeniable letters…… I think the more likely explanation for the cable cut is what lay behind some of the other incidents I have mentioned here (Joe Stack, Tuscon). I will not venture into areas which may have relevancy but which I know nothing about, such as mind control programs and those individuals whose actions seem to me related to that sort of thing (like The Joker & his girlfriend in Las Vegas last year who killed the two cops). But I do know from things which have happened right in my face, that things are not at all what they seem sometimes. This would have been done much more thoroughly, and frankly with much more class, over a mug of fine English tea over a several-hour period. I am sickened by the sloppy, abbreviated manner in which we seem forced by others’ indifference, and the schematics of our society nowadays, into dealing with profound situations. Oh, and one reason I think you may not be a government asset is because you don’t even have a competent proofreader. But maybe that is one of their latest gimmicks. Call this humour, call it what you like. But this letter probably contains more relevant truth about the internet service loss than all your other letters, other than those providing technical details.

  59. John Doe the Magnificent February 27, 2015 at 11:37 pm

There’s another explanation. NSA uses special Navy subs to splice undersea fiber cables. This incident was an overland op.

They didn’t term it infrastructure terrorism, but vandalism. That subtlety says they want the story to go. People will think of teenagers, and yawn.

See if there was digging in nearby regions prior, or soon after. That’s the splice line. It feeds a data hive or base.

PR photos may not be the actual site or even this year. The spooks operated far out. That’s where you’d want to put a splice, where nobody would find it. Show a topo map of the the location. A shutdown beta test would have been near population centers. Their own people don’t like remote, rough work any more than we do. How hard is the area to reach? Would teenagers go there? How much water would they need to carry? Etc. These are the important questions. If it is in fact a school or gang hangout, I retract my theory.

The cut hit not just ATMs, but bank desks. Bank holiday won’t be so sudden. There will be announcements about max w/d caps, etc.

Sudden and long shutdown means riots. A true beta test would need several days of shutdown. I see no value in a short incident for them, although they took notes.

For future shutdown they can send suits or uniforms to ISPs with natsec letters ordering an end consumer access under emergency pretext. Meanwhile they will keep TV and radio propaganda going full throttle. Brainwashing needs fiber.

They must also keep online their international trade scams, market rigging, and money laundering by the $trillions. Banks and high-speed trading computers are much involved. They need fiber. They will hit us in ways that only affect “little people,” not banks or propaganda channels.

Shutdown won’t be data cables but electricity itself. When your computer has no power, you have no internet. Laptops will juice out in a few hours. They know 99.99% of people have no solar. They can claim the telcos lost power too, explaining net outages for the few people who do.

Dropping the grid is so terribly easy a teenager could do it. There are thousands of miles of line in both urban and remote places. You don’t need much ingenuity. The fact that it hasn’t been done tells me terrorism is 100% distilled fiction.

And think about it, they want you dependent upon the grid, not off. They cannot have the grid go down on a regular basis or it would train us (as others in 3rd world nations) to be semi-independent and thus not so controllable when the time comes.

As to the question of timing…. I would venture to guess that when the snow across the country is gone and the soil has thawed. this was just a test run as stated. One site on west coast, one in the central U.S. and one on the east coast. All these areas are accessible right now. You can bet your bottom dollar it will be more wide spread when it actually happens. Thus no snow and frozen ground. Just my 2 cents…

I thought I would post this as I found it most interesting. Cox.net is down in my area and apparently for a large part of the united states. I rarely use e-mail but was expecting a message from a friend. I was not able to get in last night or this morning. When you try to sign in or click on most of the features you get an error message that says you can’t go to that page right now. This has been going on for about 14 hours now.

I thought it was most interesting happening right after the “net neutrality” passed and after massive outages in Arizona as well as some other states.

  65. Near to Town February 28, 2015 at 11:23 am

I was in Prescott sliding a customer’s Visa card through the charge card machine shortly before noon, when the machine failed to connect to the Internet and then it also failed to connect on the dial-up backup.

So I picked up the telephone and could still hear a dial tone on our old fashioned telephone from CenturyLink. Then, I tried dialing the other telephone from my cell phone, but I did not ring. But, I soon discovered that I was still able to talk to other nearby coworkers on their nearby Verizon cell phones.

I also later noticed, that one nearby CenturyLink telephone to another nearby CenturyLink telephone was still working, but not Verizon cell phone to CenturyLink phone.

Then I drove over to the bank to make a deposit, but they said their computers, Internet and telephones were all down. Nearly all of the the banks soon locked their doors for security reasons, with 911 service not being available.

I switched on my 2-meter amateur radio, to see if I could find any local hams talking about what was happening. On the frequency for the Mt. Union repeater, which is at the highest point in the Bradshaw Mountains between Prescott and Phoenix, I only caught the tail end of of a conversation about the outages. Then I switched over to one of the repeaters on Mingus mountain which is up high between Prescott, Cottonwood, Verde Valley, Sedona, and Chino Valley. One of the hams was saying that a fiber optic cable north of Phoenix in the New River area had been cut.

About 6 hours later, just after the telephone started working again, I received a reverse 911 call saying that if I need to call 911, I might need to try calling several times before getting through. I thought to myself, “I am glad that I did not need their help during the previous 6 hours.”

1st CenturyLink now Cox.net down – those are AZ state 2 main competitors to L3 Comm. & Integra. Current head of L3 was formerly @ Cox and L3 controls at least 70% data transmissions worldwide and works with one of the alphabets.

  71. mg February 28, 2015 at 8:54 pm

Thanks for publishing my first comment. Just a couple other things to add, as I read other comments. For Sherri in Payson (hope she sees this), it actually was squirrels that took the service down last time to payson. The fiber to payson comes from camp verde. One section on the outskirts of camp verde is aerial (on poles) through the rear easement of a neighborhood. That one mile stretch is backed up against clear creek. With clear creek comes tons of huge trees and lots of squirrels. When I was working repair, I replaced numerous aerial service wires going to homes in that area that were chewed up by squirrels. They are destructive. I actually found where the fiber was being chewed open and reported it. Unfortunately it was not replaced before they finally did enough damage to eat into the individual fibers. Squirrels and rodents are notorious for being attracted to cables. I’ve heard that one ingredient of the insulation is soy. So there was no funny business or conspiracy, you were told the truth!

Another comment I saw more than once… was why were other providers affected, when it was a centurylink cable that was cut?? Easily explainable. Many other providers buy their bandwidth from ctl. Why you ask? Because over the last many many years, ctl’s predecessors (MST&T, Mountain Bell, US West, and Qwest) have spent probably Billions$$ putting cables in the ground. Why would cable one spend millions themselves laying fiber from phoenix to flagstaff when they can purchase the bandwidth from someone who’s already done the expensive hard work. Cable one is just one example, as they are a huge customer of ctl in northern az. Sprint, AT&T and T mobile are just a few more that are completely reliant on ctl’s facilities in this area, as they don’t have their own backbones to phoenix. Verizon was the only cel provider I know of that was just fine during this outage. The reason is because they have their own microwave radio network which if necessary bypasses the usual route. And it worked just fine! If it was not for them being smart in their planning, we would have some major conspiracy theories going on!

Its easy to let the imagination run wild when stuff like this happens, especially when it happened a day before the FCC vote. But like I said before, cable cuts happen every day of the year. This one just happen to be a major cable. Many other cables have been cut, many more will be cut. Listen to the information given by the provider, not by people speculating who just watch the news and think of ways the government is taking over… you might keep some sanity!

  72. […] In Part One, it was established the Internet cables were cut, including those controlling commerce and communications in Arizona, stretching from north of Phoenix to Flagstaff. These cables were located in a remote and hard to access area. The cables were dug up and then cut with precision through a presumably encased and very thick and sophisticated aluminum alloy covering. The perpetrators made a getaway without so much as leaving tire treads or footprints leaving investigators with nothing to go on. […]

Wow! A national emergency over losing Internet access? What’s the world coming to? Go ahead and pull the plug. We can relive the 80’s and 90’s.

As I wrote Feb and March 2014, God showed me he is going to cut off the hand of Congress and then send them to hell, literally, through the front door. The stenographer on the House Floor was their last warning. I just gave Boehner his last warning on twitter God is about to kill him. I have wasted enough USPS postage warning these wicked men by mail, which included three priority letters to Romney.

God’s written word states civil war takes the whole world over and in the end, hardly a male survives.

Think what will happen when God kills Congress and king obama the KENITE is left in charge.

I believe they will enlist whoever they capture to be cannon fodder overseas and anyone that does not volunteer to be a “patriot” they will kill.

I love God. I love Jesus.

So those same Russians and Chinese whom the US is endlessly provoking with attempts to destabilize and overthrow from Kyiv to the doorstep of the Kremlin to Xinjiang are gonna help the US set up the NWO? I would think the US has bigger problems like attempting to compete with China economically or maybe possibly one up Putin the Chessmaster instead of inviting them in to oppress Americans (something the NSA and Wall St seem to have no problem doing.) Anything else I’m not getting? Yeah, a lotta imbeciles on the ‘net these days…

one comment was made regarding how they found the location of the break so quickly. It’s actually quite easy with an Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR). You can pinpoint a break to within a few feet by working from both ends. It’s not magic, it’s technology.
