Is America a Defeated Nation? Are There Enough Americans Left with the Capacity to Fight?

Are there enough Americans who have the capacity to fight for Trump's reforms left to actually make a difference?

Are there enough Americans who have the capacity to fight for Trump’s reforms left to actually make a difference?

Yes, Donald Trump has been elected against all odds. However, the longest odds that Trump will face have nothing to do with political opponents. The fact of the matter is that he is inheriting an America that is damaged and disfigured beyond all recognition. The America that I know has been raped, pillaged and plundered to the point where the nation is on life-support.

To push back the globalist occupation forces, Trump will need the support and affirmative contributions of good portion of the country. I am not sure that enough of the country is aware enough, emotionally intact enough and believe that our actions can make a difference, enough, to effect positive change. Time will tell on this point, but the early returns are not promising.

In today’s America, only 97 million Americans from a population of nearly 200 million working age citizens, actually have a full-time job. That means that every full-time worker is supporting two people in addition to themselves and they all are not our children.

Trump is assuming control of a government where it so infested with those beholding to absolute communist ideals and the dedication to living under Sharia Law, that his federal government has subversive influences in it from top to bottom.

The country as a whole is so beat down, that I am not sure if this country has the physical capacity to rally around Trump. In psychology, we call this “learned helplessness” where people become conditioned that their indivdual actions don’t make any difference.

The EBT crowd is being conditioned to depend on the government as if it were their third parent. Therefore, we cannot count on 50 million Americans to push for reforms. After all, who is going to work for themselves?

A Broke and Destitute Nation

By many estimations, America has been in very severe decline for at least 30 years. From 1985 to 2015, let’s take a look at what’s happened with salaries and wages in America.

Today, the average American is making just over $56,000 dollars per year, but that does not include the perspective that 70% of America is making less than $30,000 per year. In 1985, Americans made just over $48,000 per year. That is a $7,000 raise in 30 years, or, $250 raise per year. But wait a moment, we did not figure inflation. Please remember that the government does not count food or the price of gas in their calculations as if we don’t have to eat or drive to work.

The government tells us that inflation have averaged 5% per year since WW II. When we figure the impact that inflation has had on real wages, a person making $50,000 in 1985 would have to make $125,000 in 2015 to break even. And these figures are not even compounded which they should be. However, this does not include being in a higher tax bracket as a result of trying to keep up with inflation.

I hear some economists talk about the 20/20 effect. Which means that as compared to 30 years ago, Americans, as a whole, are working for 20% less and are actually working 20% longer. No wonder so many of our children are snowflakes. They have had fewer examples in the home to teach them how to be tough and how be resilient in the face of challenges.

More Bad News

Economic indicators in this country are horrific on their face. As economist Joseph Meyer recently told my international radio audience:

-Seventy five percent of the country makes less than $30,000 per year.

-One-third of adults over the age of 30 are living with their parents for economic reasons.

-The college loan fiasco will be the next housing crash of 2008.

-Over 300,000 waitresses and waiters have college degrees.

Additionally, we know the following:

-Our nation’s economy has gone from first to fourteenth and is rapidly plummeting.

-Some polling groups ranks America as low as 49th, behind Romania, in civil liberties.

-Despite our 24/7/365 access to entertainment America ranks 14th in happiness levels.

-In the United States, suicide has replaced car accidents as the number one cause of death.

-Since 1968, suicide for Americans between the ages of 15-24 has skyrocketed by 310%

-An estimated 20-25% of the country is on mind-numbing psychotropic drugs. Seventy percent of foster children are on these drugs which bring structural changes and damage to young brains.

-For a few years now we e are seeing East German Stasi type interrogation centers being used against American citizens who are not even charged with a crime (e.g. Chicago Black Sites).

-DHS and the Clergy Response Team have greatly compromised the spoken word of the Bible. Most churches and their pastors fall under the category of “false prophets”. In other words, today’s American churches are centers of deception.

-The U.S. economy is nearly $19 trillion dollars in debt.

-The U.S. government owes $240 trillion dollars in unfunded mandated liabilities to Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, etc.

-The bankers have coerced the government to push their derivatives debt upon the American people. This debt amounts to about $1.7 quadrillion dollars with an annual interest rate of $505 trillion dollars. The entire GDP of the planet is under $70 trillion. America could not pay off this debt by the 50th century.

-Despite spending in excess of 10 times more for health care as any other nation, we only have the 51st longest life span. We live, on average, a full one year less than the a Cuban living in a third world country.

-Post-secondary education is the most expensive in the world as is health care. Student loans represent the next type of housing bubble.

-The U.S., despite having only 4% of the population, has over 25% of the world’s prison population.

-Americans are expatriating in record numbers. Should you be one of them and where would you go?

In these statistics do you see how mental health and economic viability are intertwined. One measure impacts the other, the effects are bidirectional.

The United States is a nation in severe decline and it is beginning to show up in our mental health which is a reflection of the troubled political and economic times that we find ourselves in.

America’s General Mental Health Report

America is a severely weakened nation that may not have the capacity to fight back.

american psychosisIn 2015, over 9.3 million Americans had serious thoughts of suicide during that year. During that same year, 43.8 million adults (age 18 or older) experienced a diagnosable mental illness as 2.7 million (1.1%) made suicide plans and 1.3 million (0.6%) attempted suicide.

“The report by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) also finds that 10 million adults experienced a serious mental illness and 15.7 million adults experienced a major depressive episode in 2013″. These results continued the same trend as was found in 2012, when the findings reached astronomical levels.

In 2014, major depressive episodes affected approximately one in ten (2.6 million) youth between the ages of 12 to 17. However, Americans do not get consistent treatment with only 38.1 percent of depressed youths receive treatment for serious clinical depression. The SAMSHA Report found that, approximately 34.6 million adults (this represents 14.6% of all American adults) received mental health care. These numbers are significantly escalated over the period covering 2002-2011.  According to the new report, 44.7% of adults with any mental illness and 68.5 percent of adults with serious mental illness received mental health services.

sheep-forwardThe numbers listed above are indeed grim. The rate of mental illness is growing in lockstep with our failed economy. There is a definite correlation between the growing rate of mental illness and our obvious failures as a country. Over 20% of Americans have a diagnosable mental illness. Anywhere from 35-40% are receiving no treatment. This means that when the economy collapses, millions of displaced people with a significant mental illness will greatly exacerbate the coming civil unrest.

There is now evidence that Americans are far more mentally ill than our foreign counterparts.

America’s Anxiety Levels

According to a presentation offered at the IFPE Congress in Vienna, Austria on April 18, 2010-14, on the results of World Health Organization’s World Mental Health Survey, 19% of studied Americans experienced a clinical anxiety disorder in the previous twelve-month period, which pushes the United States into a ranking of first place in this category.

What do Americans have to be so nervous about? At least part of the answer which explains why Americans have such a high degree of clinical anxiety, is contained in the following paragraphs as it is undeniably stressful living in America under the present set of conditions.

American Happiness Levels

The United States is a nation in decline. Last year the U.S. came in 10th place in the annual rankings of World’s Happiest Countries. This year America has fallen to 12th. And this is in a country which historically believed that the next generation would do better than their parents. That is certainly no longer the case. This marks the first time in the history of the Legatum Institute‘s Prosperity Index that America has not placed in the top ten.

These rising mental health calamities reflect the social, political and economic attacks that we are enduring at the hands of the globalists.

Interestingly, if the globalists had more time, they could simply let America waste away. However, there are enough awake Americans, maybe as many as 40-50 million, that they have a significant problem and must act quickly to supress the rising tide of populism. However, if if they pull a false flag attack, it might backfire on the globalists. Why? Because during the London Blitz during WW II, the rates of alcoholism and suicide actually went down. Knowing this, it will be interesting to note how the globalists proceed in collapsing the system.

Can Trump rally this nation? The odds do not favor it, however, the field of sports contains many anecdotes which demonstrates how people can overcome the odds. This is why that those of us who are awake must be relentless in helping Trump. And we need some divine intervention.

We were heavily infiltrated and destroyed from the inside for a very long time right under our noses while we were distracted by fake news and satanic hollywood entertainment. The former Soviet spy master Yuri Bezmenov who seeked asylum into the USA in the 80s said of the four stages in taking over America

We must have Faith that GOD will do miracles! We must fast and pray for peace on Jan.20th!

I would rather die fighting than die by a thousand cuts from these evil globalists. All hands on deck!

    To answer your question;

1.The core of any fighting force are the 35 and under. This group has no idea about our history, economics, govt. philosophy or the moral principles we built this nation on; thanks to our Govt. education system. You can’t fight if you don’t what your fighting for, if you don’t know what your about to lose.

    2. This group overwhelmingly embraces economic socialism over capitalism, i.e. economic globalism. They have no problem with what’s coming as long as I have my economic prosperity and screw everyone else. That’s what is really driving Making America Great again.

    3. They are the selfie generation. So (self) absorbed, just the idea of seeing their world outside their own (self) interest is almost impossible.

    4. Those who do have guns, have absolutely no idea how to effectively use them in a crisis situation. All they will become are great bullet stoppers. Perfect cannon fodder for the rest of them to surrender.

    5. This group has no idea what it means to lay your life down for your friends.

    6. Why any revolution today will fail and we will end up like ISIS & ISIL, resorting to terror like strikes. (That wont play well in the public).

    Probably the biggest reasons we won the revolution were;
    a. The absolute stupidity and incompetence of the British.
    b. We had a great intelligence gathering system.
    c. Thanks to General Marquis de Lafayette, we had better tactics. ( We had a key nation state ally, we don’t have that today).
    d. Our Kentucky Long rifles were a key better weapons system in implementing those tactics.
    e. We had enough 35 and under men who were willing to sacrifice for the next generation.

We have none of these going for us today, none.

Plus w/o a good communication, command and control system over this large nation, we will end up like ISIS and ISIL,, surrounded in small pockets or cities. Just think about that for a minute in relation to the Govt plan for us. They know what’s coming and they are more ready than we are.

Trump will face several crises in his first hundred days. Not the least of which will be a backstabbing, commie, media. He needs to concentrate on domestic issues, but never take his eyes off China. The F-16’s, that Taiwan long ago requested, but haven’t been delivered, because Obama did not want to offend China, should be immediately delivered. Send them some extras they didn’t even request. Get rid of political correctness. If there are left-wingers out there who need a kick in the cajones, do it! Trump will not succeed by being a nice guy. He will need to be a prick, at least in his first two years.

We could overcome all of the conditions that you mentioned Dave IF and only IF we were an obedient God fearing nation.
Since we are not, we will not overcome the evil that has penetrated our nation. It’s that simple to me.

  8. Marie January 15, 2017 at 1:36 pm

We don’t need some divine intervention, we need a lot. God has been thwarting the globalists so far. Yes, keep fasting and praying through the 20th and keep praying for our leaders after that.

  9. LD January 15, 2017 at 2:09 pm

Dave. how can people help Pres Trump?

  10. GlenL January 15, 2017 at 4:14 pm

“…those of us who are awake must be relentless in helping Trump.” Yes, This is one situation where letters and calls to your Republican congressmen and senators to suppport President Trump in his populist initiatives (if any) are imperative. Concurrently there need to be calls and letters of encouragement and support to The Whitehouse, not neglecting to mention why Mr. Trump got our votes in the first place. An especially important one would be to offer thanks for the jobs brought back or retained in the USA. For those so unfortunate as to have a Democrat senator or congressman it might be worthwhile to suggest they remember their historical roots and realize how important President Trump’s real jobs initiative is to America’s working class.

  13. Lorelei Vision January 15, 2017 at 5:30 pm

This is another well-written article, thank you Mr. Hodges.

We will only be able to hold the horde back for so long. President-elect Donald J. Trump will buy us a bit of time – basically for anyone that hasn’t – to get their affairs, preps and anything else in order. Honestly, I would urge anyone who hasn’t – SEEK God right now. Anyone who needs to move to a safer place, do so as soon as you can (if you can). Anyone who hasn’t prepped, at least buy some extra food and water and a plan to egress from the city you live in when SHTF. The horde is going to throw a fit and try and overthrow our government this Friday, January 20, 2017. God willing, they will be unsuccessful. However, their failure will not stop them, they will continue to undermine Trump’s Presidency. He will continue to wear a bulls-eye until he is taken down; it would not surprise me to see a coup (sometime in the near future) if Trump is not assassinated on January 20th, 2017.

I humbly pray for God’s cover over this nation and those who seek Him. I pray for God’s hand to cover Trump and his family, each and every moment of every day. I pray that God covers this nation January 20th and thwarts the machinations of Soros and his devilish minions. In God, I put my trust to carry this nation through these perilous times.

I hope to give an uplifting thought. Look at the map of Trump vs. Hillary voters: LOTS of red. The blue counties are unarmed and clueless about protecting themselves. The red counties are your stealth ‘yeah we know what’s going on and we are armed with plenty of ammo and not going down without a fight.’ I think most Americans get it. We will fight!! God bless America!

There is a way out and it has been discussed before.
    1. Cut government personnel by 10% each year for 3 years with the proviso not to affect customer services. Analyze if more cuts can be made and where to make them.

    2. Identify the origins of our debt and pay off what is not Federal Reserve debt.

    3. Nationalize the Fed and wipe out the remaining debt.

  17. ExposeThem January 16, 2017 at 11:26 am

You paint Americans as victims when,in fact, Americans allowed themselves to be corrupted by not submitting to the spirit of truth. Instead Americans embraced the spirit of error, drugs, sexual immorality, vile music choices, abortion, divorce, homosexual marriage, transgenderism, devoid of responsibility and accountability, loathsome parental skills, and not demanding better from the political world. Do you really believe America as a nation has any blessings left in the coffers from God? I don’t see how. We ARE the 2nd Beast in Revelation 13.

  18. ExposeThem January 16, 2017 at 11:33 am

@Bill H, you’re delusional. Faith means belief. Even Satan believes. It takes more than faith. You must be a “doer.” Read the Book of James. Protestants are wrong. It’s not by faith alone. Wipe the propaganda from your mind and reread the Bible and be lead by the Spirit of Christ in you.

Finally, why would God bless this nation when it is our nation’s government and the Vatican City-state and the London city-state that has made all countries steeped in error? Prepare yourself spiritually.

I think with Trump in WH we have a fighting chance first avoid all MSM get real news from Dave hodges…steve quayle…trunews…and many others. Constantly email congress to get on board. Find allies in your neighborhood and confront opposition and get in face if needed. Let Trump’s administration be a start to taking back our republic.

The “20/20 effect” a couple of years ago would’ve been a GOOD thing for me, when the company I was contracting with, pulled out of the Chicago area – I went along to where my bread was “getting buttered”. When they told us, I knew I’d be hit with a 30% haircut right off the bat since it was doubtful all of my work could be kept in one place (turned out to be 35%). It took me nearly a couple of years to get all of that back, and since Thanksgiving, I’ve had to take another 15% haircut. In the meantime, my workweek has increased about 25-30% more hours for the same or slightly less amount of money.
