Obamacare Will be the Reason That You Will Never Retire

The elephant in the room is healthcare. The American middle class is in extreme danger because of Obamacare. Obamacare will be the reason that many will never be able to retire or even to live to a ripe old age.

Will Obamacare Be Repealed?

Millions hold out hope that Obamacare will just go away. Could that happen?

The big challenge to Obamacare was the constitutional issue of making participation mandatory and the Supreme Court voted 5-4 in favor of the mandate to force people to pay a penalty for non-payment. As an aside, since when does an entity have to force someone to participate in a program if it is that good?

The other source that promised hope that Obamacare could be stopped is in Congress. The House of Representatives has voted over 30 times to get rid of Obamacare, but it is just a symbolic gesture because they know that it will never pass the Democrat-controlled Senate. And if by some miracle the repeal of Obamacare did pass the Senate, Obama would veto the bill and a two-thirds override would never happen. Obamacare is here to stay.

How Mandatory Is Obamacare?

Corporate friends of the President, such as the employees at General Electric and McDonalds will not be forced to participate. The agency which will enforce the penalty phase of Obamacare, the IRS, was recently issued an exemption from participating as well. In short, if your corporation donated heavily to Obama’s re-election campaign, an exemption to the mandatory phase of Obamacare has been issued. For everyone else, tough luck.

The most incredulous aspect of Obamacare enforced compliance is that the mandatory provision does not include the legislators who imposed this monstrosity upon us, namely, the Congress. Are you mad yet? Well, we are just getting started.

Obama Promised We Could Keep Our Insurance

As with most things coming out of this President’s mouth, his promise that we could keep our insurance was only partially true. Because of new federal restrictions, insurance providers will no longer be offering the exact same plan that you now have. Some of this is due to the fact that Obamacare mandates a certain level of quality and a certain number of services to be offered in their insurance packages. Therefore, if your insurance company doesn’t want to bear the increased costs of complying with the Obamacare law, your plan will change and you can bet that your cost will rise dramatically.

The most dramatic aspect of Obamacare, as it relates to maintaining present coverage, is that if you have a life-change event, you will be mandated to be entered into Obamacare against your will. Life-change events include, but are not limited to, marriage, becoming a parent, changing jobs, getting divorced and many more.

Obamacare Will Dramatically Drive Up Taxes

Obamacare mandates the imposition of 19 new taxes which have never existed before including the tax on a home sale which really has nothing to do with healthcare. And if you use an indoor tanning booth, expect to pay a 10% tax.

What About Chronic Health and Pre-Existing Conditions?

It appears that the President originally planned to make good on his promise to not allow treatment exemptions for pre-existing conditions and chronic conditions. However, the federal funds which were to be used to reimburse the state exchanges have already dried up and rate increases are in the works.

What About Cost?

Obama has consistently stated that under Obamanomics, families with incomes under $250,000 would not experience tax increases and would also see their medical costs decline. That statement is a bold-faced lie!

Under Department of Health and Human Services poverty level guidelines. If you’re a single earning worker making $44,680, or a couple earning a mere $60,520, or a family of four earning a modest income of $92,200, Obama eliminates your subsidy from the government for lower health costs. I do not mean to speak down to anyone, but do you realize that a couple making $60,520 per year is the equivalent of two fast food jobs? These are very modest incomes and the cost aspect of Obamacare should be raising red flags for all middle class income families.

The Kaiser Foundation published an ObamaCare Cost Calculator for you and your family after subsidies. Please be aware this is a basic estimate for the cost of a “Silver plan” (the second tier plan, as opposed to the basic “Bronze plan” on the Exchange). Also note, the total cost is greatly affected by “regional cost factor” (increasing or decreasing the premium by as much as 20%). Yes, Virginia, there are separate plans, consisting ofBronze, Silver, Gold and something called the Cadillac plan. However, there is an absence of information of what each level of the Obamacare plan entails in terms of cost and treatment. One thing is clear, when the health plan is divided up into differing levels of care and cost, there is indeed a problem because it is apparent that people will not be treated equally under Obamacare.

For a family of four with two dependent children and a $100,000 income, Obamacare insurance costs are nearly $10,000 per year. Such a family could have expected to pay about $400 per month under existing plans such as United Health Care. Under Obamacare, the cost more than doubled.

For the same family listed above making $150,000 per year, they will pay almost $14,000 per year or 350% more than they would expect to pay in today’s health insurance market. This is obviously why the corporate friends of Obama are seeking exemptions from participation. And for those who seek their own exemption through non-participation, they will be fined 2.5% of gross adjusted income and the amount will go up with each successive year that they refuse to participate.

The aforementioned numbers are the government’s numbers as parroted by Kaiser. In other words, these rates represent the best case scenario. For those of us in the middle and upper middle class, Obamacare represents why most of us will never retire because we will be working to pay off our Obamacare debt.

Obamacare promised affordable health care when in reality what we did was trade managed health care for profit for managed health care for profit on steroids. Anyone in the middle class and above, are now health care slaves to corporations like United Health Care and Kaiser.

Obamacare was the creation of a 2,300 page document which was passed with any Congressman reading the bill in its entirety. This was only the first phase of America’s healthcare enslavement. The next phase of Obamacare consists of creating administrative procedures and regulations in the implementation phase. What will that consist of? Nobody knows for sure but the managed care companies in charge of Obamacare. These monolithic corporations have been given a blank check over our healthcare. And when one couples this with the fact that Obama is making a move on seizing 401K’s, IRA’s and pensions, it is a safe bet that you will be forced to work until you drop. Only the strong will survive. This is eugenics at its best as there is nothing in the bill to prevent the insurance companies from creating infamous death panels and to begin to deny treatment based upon conditions and the age of the patient.

Nineteenth century Fabian Socialism has come to roost in America under Obamacare and it is likely that you will work until you drop in order for the right to be a healthcare slave.

I believe before long this country is going to revolt. This kind of “change” can not keep going on without the populace simply having enough at some point. I hope that point is sooner rather than later though. The longer we wait to fight this beast the harder it will be to destroy it.

When we had “healthcare”, (excellent coverage about $400 a mo) I did not use it (past 11yrs) because big medicine does not aid health, we heal from within. Been without “healthcare” ins over a yr now, cobra coverage would have cost $1,100 a month. Imagine paying that after being laid off…
Health has always been in the individual’s hands, but who gives it a thought when they have health insurance. Healthier than ever, why would I even think of big medicine as an aid. Ever hear of “Death by Medicine” ?
Ixquick it ( Ixquick.com private search engine), and discover what a group of researchers found per yr – ” the total number of deaths caused by conventional medicine is an astounding 783,936 per year.”… Nevermind the millions maimed yearly – “adverse drug reactions (ADRs)”

Cole, etc: I thought by now people would have revolted. I have kept up with alternate news, read books, heard talk shows for years, am now retired with good med. insurance benefits from his job. Vast majority of Americans are stuck in stupid about the gov agendas/NAFTA/ free trade, many new world order agendas/ agenda 21, etc. to incl those with college degrees and those over 50! I am amazed that these “mature folks” could care less about their posterity or future generations in general, and refuse to stand up for or against anything contrary to Bill of Rights, all freedom issues and Judeo – Christian standards/culture. Retirees I spoke to recently say their adult middle aged children refuse to get involved and don’t want their literature, books, binders, cd’s, dvd’s that they will pass on to them that would educate and inform folks.

“For a family of four with two dependent children and a $100,000 income, Obamacare insurance costs are nearly $10,000 per year.”

That’s not exactly true… they will only pay $10,000 if they NEVER go to the doctor.

Since the Silver plans only cover 70% of your medical bills (Bronze covers 60%), their out-of-pocket premiums would more than double the family’s annual cost if they actually choose to USE their health insurance.

Since WHEN does $60,000 equal TWO FAST FOOD JOBS ? You are LUCKY if you make $8hr at one of these jobs!!! Somebody needs to get their sh*t together when they write such trash. The writer is severely out of touch with reality as far as what people actually earn from what kind of jobs.

And no, I don’t even have Medicare Part B at $100 per month – Just Part A that is free.. I don’t need doctors to go fishing into my wallet finding man madeup diseases in me. I only had health insurance twice in my life thru my employment that I used for something important – after a severe accident and a gall bladder removal. The gall bladder was thru Humana which almost cost me my life as I had to keep jumping thru their hoops before I could go to the hospital. Had it been one or two more days I would have been a goner and they could have operated on a corpse….but that does not matter…..I had health insurance but it was not doing me any good. Go figure. That’s why I don’t bother with doctors as all they are are pill pushers, nothing more.

  6. Terry August 7, 2013 at 1:22 pm

As long as there are insurance companies, we’ll never have healthcare. When I can walk into a hospital and get treated without showing any ID, then we’re halfway there. Else, my whole life must be evaluated for worthiness to determine course of treaatment – just like nowdays where the amount of coverage and the provider determine your course of health treatment. I say, if it’s an emergency, they may cover it, but as for healthcare, stay away from hospitals and doctors. Find out what’s poisoning you.

Revolt over Obamacare health insurance?? …I doubt it!
If the American people won’t revolt over TSA sticking their hands down our pants for OUR security, it looks like we the sheeple will put up with just about anything!!

  8. Nothing Is An Accident August 7, 2013 at 5:41 pm

You voted for a narcissistic Obama that has HIS NAME on the worst legislation ever created!
Pelosi was the broad that told Congress, “Don’t read it just VOTE IT THROUGH!”

The American Public reaps what it has sown…..bend over and spread your legs…..rubber glove time!

  9. David Obrecht August 7, 2013 at 5:42 pm

It’s not about health care. It’s about CONTROL. They are killing us anyway wit GMO and additives in our food. The only way to fight back is to vote every single on OUT. And then investigate Obuma for violations of several laws. And on the Trojan horse cartoon, you put his face on the wrong end.

  10. Houston August 7, 2013 at 6:13 pm

Well, Linder the insurance we’re getting now is going to be the kind of crap that almost got you killed.

“In the year 2525, will the idiot humans still be alive?……………………”

It’s absolutely mind blowing that Americans and people globally are really this stupid. This country and EVER country is being engineered into some sort of Demonic Machine that is/will be powered by blood sacrifices (and those “sacrifices” will come in many forms) Americans for example, knew about Obamacare for ages, and really learned about it when that owl-eyed simpleton Nancy Pelosi stated:

“We have to pass it to see what is in it” (in so many words)

    and Americans DID NOTHING.

The Patriot Act was passed a shortly after 9/11, which means it existed BEFORE 9/11, which means that 9/11 was the false flag to deliberately enact it…….

    and AMERICANS did nothing….

Mass Extermination of the American People (the full frontal kind) WILL happen in earnest very soon…

The only ones I feel sorry for are the children who did not, do not, and never had any choice……………

It’s pretty simple really, the current government is just for show. So Ignore their made up laws, rules & regulations. & PREPARE FOR WAR! Ephesians 6:10-20

    There is no individual mandate!
    Freedom not to participate
On September 7, 1916, Congress passed the Public Health Service Act, [Public Law 410] 58 Stat. 682(pertinent part reproduced below). The very title was designed to deceive, it had nothing to do with the public, and it was an *elective form of insurance. The reason no one is required to participate in the Health Care Act, as stated in section 1555, is simply the Act amends the Public Health Service Act, the original law was not repealed, so any amendment would also have to be voluntary.
Section 1001 (pertinent part reproduced below), clearly states the PPACA is an amendment to the Public Health Service Act, for the most part, it’s an International Agreement for Foreigners, and government owned corporation employers.
google; Title 5 U.S.C. chapter 89 group health care.
The agency posed to enforce the Act, is the Public Health Service, their record of healthcare is recorded in the Tuskegee Syphilis experiment.

    One Hundred Eleventh Congress
    of the
    United States of America
Begun and held at the City of Washington on Tuesday,
the fifth day of January, two thousand and ten
    An Act
Entitled The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.
Public Law 111-148 ( available on line)
Subtitle A—Immediate Improvements in Health Care Coverage for All Americans
*Sec. 1001. Amendments to the Public Health Service Act.
Sec. 1555. Freedom not to participate in Federal health insurance programs.

No individual, company, business, nonprofit entity, or health insurance issuer offering group or individual health insurance coverage shall be required to participate in any Federal health insurance program created under this Act (or any amendments made by this Act), or in any Federal health insurance program expanded by this Act (or any such amendments), and there shall be no penalty or fine imposed upon any such issuer for choosing not to participate in such programs.
Public Health Service Act (the original law)(maritime law)

    July 1, 1944 [H.R. 4624] | [Public Law 410] 58 Stat. 682
    SEC. 1.
Titles I to V, inclusive, of the Act may be cited as the “Public Health Service Act”.
SEC. 605. (a) Section 7 of the Act of September 7, 1916, entitled “An Act to provide compensation for employees of the United States suffering injuries while in the performance of their duties, and for other purposes”, as amended (U.S.C., 1940 edition, title 5, sec. 757), is amended by changing the period at the end thereof to a colon and adding the following: “Provided, That whenever any person is entitled to receive any benefits under this Act by reason of his injury, or by reason of the death of an employee, as defined in section 40, and is also entitled to receive from the United States any payments or benefits (other than the proceeds of any insurance policy), by reason of such injury or death under any other Act of Congress, because of service by him (or in the case of death, by the deceased) as an employee, as so defined, such person shall *elect which benefits he shall receive. Such election shall be made within one year after the injury or death, or such further time as the Commission may for good cause allow, and when made shall be irrevocable unless otherwise provided by law.”

    Hi Folks,

I’m all for independence and such but what do you say to the retired folks of Detroit who worked in good faith to get the retirement?

What do you say to the folks who worked at Hostess who watched their retirement and medical benefits looted by management?

What do you say to our Vets who went to war in good faith and get health benefits only at special places? Wouldn’t it be great if they could get health care locally?

What do you say to all those small business owners who can’t afford insurance? Wouldn’t it be great if they could hire and not worry about such things and put their efforts into their business?

What do you say to all those folks who are indentured to a company because of health care? Where did their freedom to choose to work go?

  15. Robert Smith August 8, 2013 at 1:05 pm

David, David, David… You proclaim: ” They are killing us anyway wit GMO and additives in our food.”

Yup, but it’s not Obama. It’s CORPORATIONS like Monsanto that are corrupting our food and the system.

GMOs by themselves aren’t evil. It’s the missing testing and a track record with given products that are missing. Yes, products shouldn’t be hurtful to Americans. Mendel was doing GMO research in the 1800s. What’s different from a Monk getting a better product over a period of decades while Monsanto can do it years?

We are on the threshold of being able to quickly analyze anything to see if it is really harmful. Why not advocate for that rather than stab Obama for something Monsanto is doing? BTW, books like “Wheat Belly” are being touted while “Silent Spring,” proven over the years to be pretty much correct, are still condemned?

Or is all that there screaming over GMO stuff the same old denial as is often sprayed against Darwin? Clue: Evolution exists (even for humans).

  16. David Obrecht August 8, 2013 at 5:44 pm

Too true Robert. But he’s right there helping them. Along with a little help from his friends in congress that keep passing laws to protect the companies like Monsanto.

Obamacare is a population control method. It has nothing to do with healthcare. It is a method to register people, to gain access to their medical information, and control the distribution of medications. The end result is population control.

Immigration reform at this time is another population control method. Registration of the population by offering amnesty. The low information illegals will be more than happy to sign up.

All the ends are being tied together.

  19. Mike R September 7, 2013 at 7:45 pm

People are insane. I did not like George W. Bush but I never would say anything like; “Oh, Bush is a Fascist, he will destroy us all, we must overthrow him.” I just did not agree with his policies. Also, isn’t a law saying that if we can afford it we have to have health care good, I mean, many people did not agree with the Social Security act that FDR passed, but it did help people a lot and everyone had to have it. Now, I know that people are going to be saying, “Well if everyone has to have healthcare that that is more extra dollars to spend.” Your not stating your opinion very well. Obamacare actually says that you don’t have to pay as much as you would as you normally would, and pretty much everyone had healthcare already, and those who did not either could not afford it or just weren’t responsible enough to get it. For those who did not have it and now have it because of Obamacare can just drop their least important insurance contract to save money for healthcare. Oh yeah, when Mitt Romney was Governor of Massachusetts, he passed the exact same thing as Obamacare and he had an argument with Ted Kennedy – a member of the mother family of the democrats – on this in the 1994 Massachusetts senate debate. Watch it on youtube and if you still don’t believe me after this, than you just don’t want to accept the fact that your party’s ideologies can be proven wrong, or critically argued against. Oh, and by the way, calling Obama a narcissistic fool who does not care about the nation is ridiculous.

Respectfully, you are an Obama troll or you are getting your news from CNN. I am glad you came to this site if you are the latter. Read, educate yourself and you will begin to see how true my words, and those of my alternative media colleagues words truly are.
