In the summer of 2007, I was returning to Arizona from Colorado. We arrived at about midnight, very tired and very low on gas. And to our dismay, we could not find an open gas station. Even the 24 hour gas stations were out of gas, except for the 4th station we visited on that night. After filling up, we returned finally arrived at our home, breathed a collective sigh of relief and promptly went to bed.
The next morning we were discussing how the price of gas was on its way to doubling after just a week of increases. I inaccurately predicted that the escalation of gas prices was going to continue and a global war was on the horizon. I stated that the price of gas would cause an inflationary spiral in food costs. Water, that had to be shipped, would become cost prohibitive. Water wars would develop as the number one resource to fight over. Oil would become the number two resource to fight over because the increased travel expense, would make oil cost prohibitive for most entities. The just-in-time deliveries would stop. There would be massive food shortages as well. People could afford to drive to work. The economy would enter into a tail spin.
The UN Factor
In light of what is happening now, with regard to UN regulations, and the voodoo science known as climate change, new oil policies are due to take effect in 2020. The new policies will produce devastating results with regard to serviceable oil.
I said all of these things in 2007 and I was incorrect. However, if I said these same things in 2018, there would be a high likelihood that I would be understating the problem, and again, this is due to impending UN policy.
In 2007, the hording of oil and the refusal to offload tankers in ports was primary culprit resulting in the high prices. In 2007, some shadow figures, behind the scenes, were manipulating the price of oil. Today, the wounds will be inflicted by public and a well-known source, the United Nations and their draconian policies will passed on to the governments of the world.
Most aware and awake persons are keenly aware that the fiction authors that create climate change policy, desperately want the world to abandon their use of energy, at least until the globalists can gain control over all energy through their policies of technocracy.
When Obama took office, he immediately tried to get a Democratic Party controlled US Senate to pass draconian climate change policies which would have reduced energy output by up to 80% by the year 2020. The proposal failed miserably. In this bold move, Obama showed his true anti-American attitude but the Democratic Party was not yet compromised enough to commit national suicide. Today, the extremists on the left are insane enough to pass such a proposal because it is anti-business and anti-American. This one fact is why the midterm elections are important.
Obama was very bold about this “cap and trade” system. He honestly declared what his “climate change policies” would do to the American economy. Rep. Issa published this interview between Obama and the San Francisco Chronicle editorial board in January of 2008.
The regulations, due to take effect at the start of 2020, lowers the allowed concentration of sulfur in maritime fuels from 3.5% to just 0.5%. These UN rules have already sparked a scramble for low-sulfur options for fuel. But the current global refining capacity will not likely be able to produce enough low-sulfur fuels to allow a smooth transition from high-sulfur fuels by the world’s shipping fleet. The conversion of the third most consumed resource on the planet is massive. The conversion costs are prohibitive and that is what the globalists are counting on.
An economics research paper from a prominent European economist and oil market expert, Philip K. Verleger, notes that there will be an extreme shortage of low-sulfur diesel fuel in 2020 as a result of regulations from the International Maritime Organization (IMO), which are in accordance with the UN’s Agenda 21 (ie 2030), which are specifically aimed at cutting sulfur emissions in fuel.
In the white paper, Verleger noted that the shipping industry accounts for about 5% of total global oil demand, and most ships burn heavy fuel oil that is high in sulfur. Despite the fact that the shipping demand is only 5%, all oil is shipped from the point of extraction, to the point of refinement, to the final point of distribution. Therefore, this regulation will not impact just the 5% of shipping cost increase due to standards requiring lower sulfer in fuel. Verleger agrees with my assessment which postulates that this represents a massive shift, one that will not likely be met. Specifically, ship-owners will have to install expensive scrubbers to remove sulfur, switch to low-sulfur fuels such as diesel or oil, or switch over to LNG. Again, the capital outlay for these processes is cost prohibitive and that cost will be passed along to the consumers.
The net effect is summed up by Verleger in the following statement:
As the rules take effect in 2020, oil prices will spike to $160 per barrel or higher. “Economic activity will slow and, in some places, grind to a halt. Food costs will climb as farmers, unable to pay for fuel, reduce plantings. Deliveries of goods and materials to factories and stores will slow or stop,” he argues. “Vehicle sales will plummet, especially those of gas-guzzling sport utility vehicles (SUVs). One or more major U.S. automakers will face bankruptcy, even closure. Housing foreclosures will surge in the United States, Europe, and other parts of the world. Millions will join the ranks of the unemployed as they did in 2008.”
Verleger went on to say that the $160 per barrel cost of oil is merely a starting point. Oil prices will likely surge to $200 per barrel.
The Real Goal of Energy Regulation
In fully industrialized and developing nations as well, there are three primary resources that if any are controlled, the people are controlled. It is clear that climate change policies have as their end goal, the complete control and enslavement of the planet. The three resources are food, water and energy. And since a consumer society virtually ships every resource (eg food and water), energy control is the choke point.
If Verleger is correct, and the evidence is overwhelming that he is, then the globalists, through the voodoo science of climate change, will control everything. History provides some very stark examples of what happens when a despot gains control over one of these three resources. Under Stalin, the people of Ukraine wanted independence. Stalin did grant independence, independence from from food. Stalin withheld food from the people of Ukraine and an estimated 7 to 20 million people perished in this event. This is ultimately the power that is being handed to the globalists that run the United Nations.
There is one more implication to consider. History is very clear about what happens when a people lack an essential resource, necessary to survival, those people go to war. The globalist have failed to manipulate Russia and the United States into going to war in Syria. However, two resource starved nations will not hesitate to fight for what they need. The is particularly telling for the planet. If one takes seriously the published desires of dozens of globalists to reduce the population by 90%, then this could be the vehicle to make this happen.
In yesterday’s article, I detailed how the world is being manipulated into a contrived water shortage that will eventually engulf all nations. I also provided the same end-game analysis for this crisis as I am with the coming oil shortage, which will be artificially induced by UN policy. I am waiting for the third shoe to drop, so to speak, as food will no doubt become scarce as well. However, if one controls energy, one controls the distribution of food.
What is the answer to this dilemma? The ultimate answer lies on Arizona Highway 60 as one exits the town of Wickenburg. There is a billboard on the side of the rode that demands that the US withdraw from the UN. This withdrawal action from the UN is not the final step in solving this problem. There will be some pain to go it alone. However, if we develop the North Shore of Alaskan oil and build massive refineries, the United States could return to the same position of economic prominence that it enjoyed after WW II in which the US produced half of the world’s goods.
Does President Trump have the intestinal fortitude to make this happen? The lives of over 6 billion people may depend on it.
In the meantime, what can you do to get ready for these 2020 oil policies to take effect? You need to begin to store, in large as quantities as you can afford, food, water, guns, gold, ammo, medicine (natural) and develop allies to cover your six.
