The Statistics Do Not Lie! Welfare Is the Best Paying Entry Level Job In 35 States!

CSS Offical-New-Logo2

Recently, a friend asked me what would I recommend his daughter major in as she begins college this fall.  I thought for a moment and answered “welfare”.  The father was quite taken back as I took out my IPAD and forwarded him some of my files which contains our recent economic statistics.

There are 35 states in this country in which it is better to accept welfare than work at an entry level job. Much like crack cocaine or heroin addicts, much of our nation is hopelessly addicted to living in the welfare state. This has real implications for the emotional and even spiritual health of our nation. The most distressing aspect of the present economic conditions we find ourselves mired in, is the fact that we are allowing our young people to have their dreams and their very sense of hope stolen away from them. Fear monger, naysayer, doomsday profit are terms ascribed to people who dare to criticize the existing economic system and speak about the real implications for our people. I dare the most liberal of you to read the following facts, engage in your own fact checking and then not to be able to conclude that the American dream, for most of our people, is dead and buried.

The Average American Is Taking a Beating

It is not just our nation that is taking a beating, our individual financial situations in this country have grown to a crisis level. America is no longer just in a depression. We have entered third world status, a kind of permanent depression, if you will. Yes, we have skyscrapers and modern technology, but only the elite control these resources and the average Americana’ standard of living is in a state of economic free fall.

povertyAccording to the U.S. Census Bureau, more than 146 million Americans are either “poor” or “low income”. Stunningly, more than 100 million Americans are enrolled in at least one welfare program run by the federal government, not including the massive entitlement programs of Social Security or Medicare. The number of people on food stamps has grown to 47.79 million Americans. In 2008, when Obama first took office, only 32 million Americans were on food stamps. Approximately, 20.2 million Americans spend more than half of their incomes on housing, which represents a 46% increase from 2001. Parents under the age of 30 experience poverty rates consisting of 37 percent. The number of Americans living in poverty has grown to one out of every six US citizens. Can you say “turn out the lights, the party is over.”

It No Longer Pays To Go To Work

Of all the facts that serve to describe the economic chaos, there is one fact that stands out among all others.

Ninety million unemployed Americans are no longer even looking for work. The next time you go into DMV, please realize that you are subsidizing a driver’s license for about a third of the people. You are also paying for their health care, food stamps and shelter. And many of these lower class, poverty-stricken “Americans” are living a higher standard of living than you are and this is by design courtesy of Obama’s policies of Marxian social justice and wealth redistribution. If you are a liberal, you are probably fine with giving away your paycheck to people who will not work. If you are over 40, possess common sense, have an IQ higher than room temperature, then you realize that this is national suicide to keep doing what we are doing.

The Numbers Do Lie

Wayne Emmerich found that the family breadwinner who works only one week a month at minimum wage makes 92% as much as the breadwinner  grossing $60,000 a year.Emmerich’s stats demonstrate that by working only one week a month  can save a lot of money in child care expense. But topping the list is Medicaid, which is accessible to minimum wage earners and the program has very low deductibles and co-pays. In short, by working only one week a month at a minimum wage job, a minimum wage earner is able to get total medical coverage for next to nothing courtesy of you and me.

The middle class is not as  lucky as the $60,000 breadwinner pays out approximately $12,000 per year in health insurance costs with an addition $4,500 in co-pays. And if anyone in the part-time minimum wage earning family is disabled, SSI pays out an additional $8,088 per year. When one begins to calculate the expenses incurred by a typical breadwinner making $60,000 per year, compared to the part time minimum wage worker, coupled with minimum wage earners tax supported federal bailouts for these freeloaders, the poor have more discretionary income than those who pay the taxes that run the country. And if the part time minimum wage worker is willing to cheat and participate in the underground economy, they will have significantly more discretionary income than their hard-working $60,000 per year counterpart who actually works for a living. In short, if you are a full-time employee making above minimum wage, you paying for your own economic demise. The numbers here suggest that we’d be better off staying home and living off of the labors of what’s left of the middle class.

In short, for most industrious Americans, it no longer pays to go to work. This system is catapulting our country towards an economic Armageddon. Welfare pays and pays well, until the government turns off the faucet. Then we will have a revolution inspired by the 146 million Americans who can longer support themselves.

What do you think Obama’s “Myra” account is for? It is about handing over all 401K’s to the federal government. Why are banks installing capital controls which are making it increasingly difficult get your money out of the banks? What is the MERS mortgage fraud complete with robo-signers about? It is all about stealing any and every asset and opportunity in this country. The present policies of the Obama administration are creating a slave class of welfare-dependent junkies who have no hope, no pride, no internal locus of control m, no work ethic and no future.

Take a look at the following economic chart created by the Cato Institute. There are , in America, 35 states who pay welfare recipients better than retail clerks, factory workers and fast food employees. This is a world turned upside down and only the twisted communist-based economic policies of this present administration would think that this is acceptable. And before you welfare recipients fire up your computer to write to me and tell me how evil I am for printing this, I would remind you that what the government can give you, the government can take away from you.

My wife started out her professional career working at McDonalds serving hamburgers at the age of 16.  Twenty years later and after several promotions, she was in charge of all of the corporate owned McDonalds in Arizona. On a national level, she ran the food concessions for the NBA All-Star weekend as well as the NFL Superbowl held in Phoenix. Under the present economic climate and policies, what would have been her motivation to work her way to the top before retiring? Today, our country has robbed its citizens of its most precious resource, hope!

Our Children Have a Bleak Economic Future

If there is a compelling reason to leave America, it would be to provide our children with a future which is much brighter than the future that they will be burdened with in the United States.

Even if there are not any severe political/military disruptions in America’s immediate future, most of our children have a dismal future and the numbers do not lie.

At this point in time, about half of all recent college graduates are working at jobs that do not even require a college degree. The number of Americans in the 16 to 29 year old age bracket with a job declined by 18 percent between 2000 and 2010. Incomes for U.S. households led by someone between the ages of 25 and 34 have fallen by about 12 percent after you adjust for inflation since the year 2000. In the United States today, 317,000 waiters and waitresses have college degrees. One poll discovered that 29 percent of all Americans in the 25 to 34 year old age bracket are still living with their parents. Overall, approximately 25 million American adults are living with their parents according to Time Magazine.

America is no longer the land of opportunity as the United States is not even in the top ten. In fact, the United States only ranks 20th in terms of overall gross pay! Yet, what we do have is a plethora of young people hopelessly mired in student loan debt when they graduate and a federal government that is more than happy to garnish their wages and, in some cases, even SWAT team them for nonpayment.

Every business professor should be required to teach these statistics to their freshman classes in college. There are some, but very few good jobs left in America. Why? There is little money left for investment as the banksters stole most of our liquid capital during the bailouts and these bailouts are still continuing today. This negative assessment  is also true because 25 years ago, we committed national suicide when we enacted the first of several free trade agreements which led to the mass exodus of jobs to overseas cheap labor markets. The United States people have been economically raped to the point that the only thing left to steal are homes, bank accounts and retirement funds, and that is beginning to happen as well (e.g. MF Global). If a professor was truly going to be honest with their students, they would tell them “Get up out of your seats, go get your passports, apply for a Visa and move to Norway, Finland, Sweden, Switzerland, Germany, etc.)”. But no, we keep selling our young people on the notion that there is still something called the American dream! Actually, there are some good  job opportunities left in America, but only a small percentage will realize their professional and economic dreams under this present set of conditions.

Please allow me to save the worst for last. Our national deficit is $17 trillion dollars. Our unfunded liabilities are $242 trillions dollars (e.g. Social Security, Medicare, etc.). Our credit swap derivatives, Ponzi scheme debt which was passed onto the American people during the bailouts is $1.5 quadrillion dollars. The entire estimate wealth of the planet is $96 trillion dollars at the high end of the estimate. Our government collects about $2 trillion dollars in taxes each year and the economy is contracting. Where is the logic in the hope that we can overcome these financial obstacles with simple austerity? Our descendants will be paying off these debts, while mired in economic slavery well into the 30th century.

I have a question for all liberals who are still drinking from the Obama Kool-Aid; do you really think the banksters are ever going to allow the people to repudiate these debts without a war or the implementation of some  extreme form of martial law crackdown against resistance to the present status quo?

Consistently, this column has proven its dedication to reform and change through nonviolent means. However, the small group of central bankers who have enslaved nearly every country on this planet with insurmountable debt will never let go of this control without a fight. This is why I am advocating for not participating in their bankster controlled institutions (e.g. Bank of America, WalMart, etc.). However, at the end of the day, the obvious bankster counter would be the well known, much anticipated practice of accepting the mark and you will not be able to buy and sell without it. Ultimately, at its root, this is a spiritual war between good and evil.

I read you everyday and listen to you whenever I can. In general I agree with 99.9% of your material. However unless I’ve misunderstood you, the following is blatantly INCORRECT: “Stunningly, more than 100 million Americans are enrolled in at least one welfare program run by the federal government, not including the massive ENTITLEMENT PROGRAMS of Social Security or Medicare.”

Myself and every other gainfully employed worker bee in this once great nation paid into their (non existent) social security “account”. In my case as a self employed individual I had the privileged of paying “twice” – both the employer’s portion as well as my own FICA tax. Furthermore, having paid the “maximum required” for 26 consecutive years I can assure you that I will NEVER live long enough to receive more than a very small portion the significant monies I paid into that scam.

Calling Social Security an “ENTITLEMENT” with out very clearly specifying that you’re referring ONLY to the pond scum who are living off the sweat of the rest of us by accepting something they have not contributed to is therefore incorrect.

  2. plowboy August 5, 2014 at 6:19 am

Simple solution:ivwes should work; husbands should be on welfare. That way it all balances. There is an interesting article in the news today, titled “Is Thinking Obsolete”? Your article settles that argument. Yes, it is {obsolete}.

  3. Sophie August 5, 2014 at 6:29 am

Thank you for your five star general reporting, Dave! We need vital information and we must face the staggering difficulty of it. However, why accept the plans by “the most powerful” as the inevitable outcome. We would do well to envisage some form of victory, rather than defeat.

I saw a video of a Russian “defector” who states that once a county is demoralized, nothing can be done, and people will be unable to see the obvious until the jackboots are kicking them in the face. However, I think of this view as wishful thinking. I used to do the oral “blog” in public places and I could see that people could be encouraged, even while being presented with challenging information. In fact, I found it shocking that a two minute “blog” impromptu song could visibly energize hundreds. Other methods of reaching people are necessary at this time. I will keep trying to think of ways to help energize society. I used to feel cowardly when I was younger. But that was because I was unknowingly living through torture and trauma as a subject of MKULTRA experimentation.

I would think that it is possible to set up an alternative, UNDERGROUND system of work, including manufacturing, politics, TEMPORARY welfare. If people can stop grimly believing that there is no hope, then the struggle can be engaging and even invigorating.

Can some of those on entitlements be reached and given vital information, trained in dissemination of facts and motivated or hired to spread the word as quietly as possible? The unemployed have time, which is a huge resource and youth have great, untapped energy. Underground businesses can begin to make practical, basic items. What is a business that could be started up today in a basement and supplied and running in two hours? How could it be expanded? Are there “defeated” people on entitlements who could be enlisted in such as effort? Why can’t “franchises” that minister to America be quietly established?

Why give up and accept the eventual world standard of living of Bangladesh? Why not reach inside and instead find the means to ward off and shake off the invading evil?

Never forget the loaves and the fishes. We can feed everyone, by breaking off a tiny piece of our bread and passing it out.

Just got back from the DMV to get my driver’s license renewed. If what was in there is a legitimate sampling of Americans we are up the bovine excrement creek without a paddle. Hodges is correct. America is nothing more than symbolism over substance. You also get to be electronically finger printed here in the state of Texas when you renew. I have never seen that before. Not sure if the morpho-trust cameras they take your picture with have retinal scanners but I wouldn’t be surprised. We are subjected to ever more control and monitoring as we go into third world hell.

  7. Beatstick August 5, 2014 at 8:05 am

Social Security is not an “entitlement” for someone who has paid into it their whole working life, to them it is an earned benefit.

  8. emjay August 5, 2014 at 9:35 am

Good article. Enough to make us all fighting mad if we really let it sink in what has been going on. Thanks for your thoughts and info. One thing I question is your reference to Social Security as an entitlement. People like myself have paid into that our entire lives. I don’t feel that it is an entitlement. It is my money they are giving back, however grudgingly.

I live in SC, and the welfare payout here was listed as equivalent to $10.53 an hour. That’s more than I make at my job! Disgusting!

I am a single disabled parent that survives on $700. a month which is not better than being able to work any kind of a job which I love to be able to do again if it were possible. My faith in Jesus is the only way I’ve been able to make it thus far. I contribute what I can by doing good deeds for others and sharing the good news. My life isn’t cushy; it’s very hard, brother, but I keep going the best I can with the cards I’ve been dealt. I appreciate what you do, all the hard work and pray for your safety all the time… GBU Mr. Hodges now and in the perilous days ahead~

Recommending young Americans to move to tax hell countries like Sweden or Germany ? Yuck ! These are the true communist sh*tholes the brightest and the best of their citizens leave for the U.S., Canada, Switzerland etc.
Both Sweden and Germany are overrun by foreign migrants which often are the riff-raff of their country of origin.
This is one reason why neither Sweden or Germany have no future.
The other reason is a bloated government bureaucracy that harasses, blackmails and terrorizes anyone who dares to run a small business.
I know that first hand, have left Germany for the U.S. some years ago. What a difference. Here I get the living standard I work for. The few welfare people I feed with my low U.S. taxes ? I barely notice them.
Germany has close to 50% income tax, and 19% sales tax, no gun rights, and obnoxious government bureaucrats everywhere who really work hard to turn your life into misery. So far I did not run into any of those sort in the U.S. – and this means a lot.

  12. Useless Eater August 5, 2014 at 1:44 pm

Politicians are the biggest welfare recipients on the planet.

  13. Seen2013 August 5, 2014 at 2:10 pm

“Recently, a friend asked me what would I recommend his daughter major in as she begins college this fall. I thought for a moment and answered “welfare”. The father was quite taken back as I took out my IPAD and forwarded him some of my files which contains our recent economic statistics.”

I’m sure your friend’s daughter will be happy as a governmental/public employee and statistic largely as a Civilian Conscript through the central government’s mandate to States to administer the mandated participation for those benefits to participate in the jobs/works programs of various States that vary by name.
I suspect her main difficulties will be:
*Obedience to all orders supplied by governmental agencies and affiliates within the guidelines or risk sanction
*She may not like requiring Doctor’s written exemption from vaccinations like the coming Ebola vaccine mandate.
*She may be just in time for the trillion Dollars to TBTF banks for the maintenance, monitoring, and etc of EBT and EPPI to switch to implantable RFID that I’ve heard has been discussed at several Welfare offices.
Well, if she doesn’t fee comfortable assembling, inspecting, and etc smart-meters, surveillance equipment, green tech, and in some cases security, she may have to seek internship, volunteer for Salvation Army, Greenpeace, and etc, or return to college maintaining at least a 2.0 between part-time to full-time depending on her benefit’s amount and size of household determining her hours per week of jobs/works assignment.
Well, it simply doesn’t due to acquire multiple sanctions and rendered ineligible from 1 month to 6 months, and the 4th sanction makes medicaid/medical coverage ineligible.

“America is no longer just in a depression. We have entered third world status, a kind of permanent depression, if you will.”

Civilian Conscription is the government’s way to compete with China’s labor laws as Socialism’s public-private partnerships’ mechanism progresses to national socialism’s public-private mergers.

“If a professor was truly going to be honest with their students, they would tell them “Get up out of your seats, go get your passports, apply for a Visa and move to Norway, Finland, Sweden, Switzerland, Germany, etc.)”.”

Perpetual worker migration is actually one of the desired outcomes of the manufactured economic crisis as people are forced to sacrifice loyalties and mandate supranationalism to take root.

And in feedback on this particular aspect:

Dave, you may want to look at the links through US treaties with these nations, foreign aid, and covert agreements through IMF and World Bank funding monitored by BIS and other aspects here. It’s a pure fraud designed to increase supranationalism after the global economic collapse that is in actuality the precise objectives of Bilderberg. The US will be utterly destroyed, and Europe’s failure to form a political and economic union gets punished for daring to challenge the agenda… In short, their higher standard of living, medical, and lack of wars directly relates to their overt and covert agreements for the New World Order…

One additional note that I’m compelled to highlight. There’s more than a few people who prior to the welfare queen and welfare surfer mainstream pieces came out that welfare guidelines were selectively enforced. What is ironic is, many people I’ve talked to about it don’t follow why the mainstream and alternative would unite on this particular aspect and why then as now when the economy is on the verge of total collapse as it collapses in stages, and we’re on the verge of the next world war.
The best answer is that it ties into ACA aka Obamacare. Michael Snyder recently did an article about a US agency called Office of Population Affairs. Office of Population Affairs is under the umbrella of HHS much like TSA and FEMA are under the umbrella of DHS. Obviously, when the situation is bad enough in true Club of Rome advocated solutions and not far removed from Nazi Germany’s as Bismark’s Bismarkian policies cupped with War reparations and the Wiemar Agreement came to a head; the elderly, useless eaters, and etc become targets of Euthanasia. The endgame is pretty much the same, and there is a political ideology that is aspired by Bismark’s ambition through utilizing his Bismarkian Policies aka Bismarkianism.
Isn’t it patently obvious what’s coming?

  14. Phillip August 5, 2014 at 4:28 pm

Hello Mr Hodges. I enjoy your website and the Hagmann’s etc.

Forgive me if it sounds as though I am ranting against any individual, but I am tired of this as well and I don’t think that it was properly addressed in this specific article.

It no longer pays to go to what? “Work”? What “work”? There is no “work” here.

    “Motor City” is a desolation.

Comodities production has been exported to China, India, etc. E.g. General Motors was bailed out, and they built a plant in Brazil.

How many people have you hired this week?

Employers are forced to reduce hours to less than 30/week to avoid Obamacare. Who can live off of 30 hour weeks. Two 30 hour weeks is slavery – to heck with it.

What are you paying taxes for if you don’t like it? What kind of whack job would do that? Our founders would have picked up their guns long ago.

I WENT OUT AND PROTESTED the illegal immigration in Murrieta. What have other “keyboard commandos” done? I wonder how many of them would hire me for anything? If not, what are they yacking about?

Where in the heck am I supposed to find any work in a small town that is miles away from any big towns, when the price of gas is so high?

I have two Associates degrees and a Bachelors.

My last job was sign spinner (human directional).

Mr Hodges, HIRE ME… I’ll work for you gladly.

Why can’t we own our own land without eminent domain or property tax? Deuteronomy 19:14 and compare I Kings 21.

Why can’t we have only 10% tax and one flat tax? Exodus 30:12-15. Deuteronomy 14:22-28.

Why can’t we work as a servant for seven years and come out with EXTRAS? Leviticus 25:39-43. Deuteronomy 15:1-4, 12, 14.

Why don’t we stop borrowing from other nations? Deuteronomy 15:6.

Unlike the authors of the Constitution, the Pilgrims, who had actually suffered religious persecution, were not afraid to being the Mayflower Compact with, “In the name of God, Amen”.

The Preamble, on the other hand, replaces God with “We the People”, as if to say “WE will decide” – “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” Exodus 20:3.

The First Amendment gives people the right to practice and preach false religion. This is contrary to Deuteronomy 13.

“No Religious Test” is contrary to Deuteronomy 17:15, 18-19.

A disobedient nation gets CURSED. We are CURSED and only NATIONAL REPENTANCE can fix this. Deuteronomy 28:15-68. 2 Chronicles 7:14.

  15. salk August 6, 2014 at 6:10 am

    Hi Dave
I’m currently on the UK version of welfare having lost my home and being a single mother and being in debt.
I have retrained by watching youtube videos and reading and I have learned to do webdesign. I am gradually picking up work.
The system is designed to support people up to a certain financial level. So, whenever I make a bit of money, I have to declare it and then I lose my state income by roughly the same amount. Once I earn over £16,000, I won’t be ‘entitled’ to any. This is my goal.

But mentally, it is so hard to keep going, with looking after a small child on my own, all the debt on my shoulders and knowing that if I do nothing, I get the same money.

I once googled what the best way to come off these ‘benefits’ is and I discovered nothing. No articles or help or guides. No wonder there is such a problem and a trap.

When I was younger, if you’d ask me if I’d ever go on benefits I would have laughed and said no way. But circumstances and desperation led me to this place.

    That’s my perspective.

  16. Gods Creation August 6, 2014 at 6:17 am

Dave, not ONE SINGLE NICKEL of your taxes pay for any of the programs you mention. They are paid for by the printing press. The “taxes” you pay go directly to the Federal Reserve, with miniscule amounts returned to the treasury.

YOU are not paying for anything the government does, and you are not supporting welfare recipients. The corp does that with worthless currency at NO COST.

So ask yourself, is it OK to hitch a ride a ride on the runaway train so long as you are prepared to jump off before the cliff it is destined to go off of?

People take jobs because they pay more. But when the fraudulent money system collapses, we will all be in the same boat whether you work a job or the system.

It is all by design. Why not take the free ride and use your “work” to prepare for the Post 2015 world in which the dollar returns to it’s intrinsic value of ZERO?

  17. Jim August 6, 2014 at 6:33 am

By law, the assets of the Social Security program must be invested in securities guaranteed as to both principal and interest. The Trust Funds hold a mix of short-term and long-term government bonds. The Trust Funds can hold both regular Treasury securities and “special obligation” securities issued only to federal trust funds. In practice, most of the securities in the Social Security Trust Funds are of the “special obligation” type. (See additional explanation from SSA’s Office of the Actuary.)

The Trust Funds earn interest which is set at the average market yield on long-term Treasury securities. Interest earnings on the invested assets of the combined OASI and DI Trust Funds were $55.5 billion in calendar year 1999. This represented an effective annual interest rate of 6.9 percent.

The Trust Funds have earned interest in every year since the program began

  18. sameveco91 August 6, 2014 at 6:52 am

Yeh, entitlement is a very loose word. Granted it is in the context of those who get something for nothings, I paid into the system handsomely and by injury from service to country, I am getting mine back. I can say I’m probably one of the very few who is getting a decent return as my benefits exceed the listed earnings from all 50 states. And I wonder sometimes how I can get by on that. How the Hell do others making minimum wage have any decent standard of living? We are in large part a third world demographic when you take away the dole. This is obvious, but most are in denial.

  19. Jammer August 6, 2014 at 6:52 am

Actually, isn’t it an insurance “tax” forced on every living soul born in the corporation of the UNITED STATES and not the united States? Kind of like obamacare of today?

  20. Readyman August 6, 2014 at 9:20 am

Lets cut the crap. Social security is not an entitlement for people who paid
into it. Because most Americans are to frightened to speak out, THERE WILL
DEFINITELY BE BLOOD IN THE STREETS. Especially when they declare
martial law and try to take guns. I’m retired and just waiting for the other shoe
to drop. Civil war you dumb asses out there.

  21. Buck August 7, 2014 at 5:58 am

It is no surprise that Idaho ranked 51 in welfare but is also the number 1 state where wages are soaring http://money.msn.com/investing/5-cities-where-wages-are-soaring followed by Florida, Mississippi

  22. TRUTH August 7, 2014 at 5:09 pm

You have to be insane to think that the average person receiving benefits is happy as opposed to working. You forgot that the government has deliberately facilitated to removal of all of our industry and have given it to China and India. This is what you should be talking about. So what do you expect people to do. They are simply surviving. Another thing is what about the “corporate welfare” billions given to oil corporations who are already making record profits. Many if not all of the corporations are the ones relocating our jobs off shore. I am a social worker. When you drive through a poor neighborhood at night, you will see the streets and drive ways full of cars. The next morning when you drive through, the cars are gone because these same people are working for peanuts. Some are working 2 and 3 jobs for peanuts. So lets place the blame where it belongs, (PTB) the powers that be. Additionally, this is exactly the type of divisiveness that the PTB want. They want us to blame each other for the problems that THEY created, while we are doing that, the PTB has raped and robbed the country and want to now leave us for dead. Please be more balanced. Don’t fall for the oke doke.
