Trey Gowdy Set to Replace Sessions As Attorney General

Ask Representative Gowdy how he feels about the Clinton Foundation and he will tell you that it is a criminal enterprise. Ask him about the FBI and he will talk about covering up for Hillary’s crimes and engaging in obstruction of justice. I was so disappointed when Gowdy decided not run for his Congressional seat this fall. Now we know why. We have learned that Gowdy will be appointed to be the next Attorney General. This has major implications.

AMEN! I’m celebrating with a bowl of gelato and homemade almond cookies!

AG Jeff Sessions has been a major disappointment to say the least. He may be compromised, scared, blackmailed or all of the above. I expected better from him. Come to think of it. I don’t remember hearing much if any opposition during or after his nomination as Attorney General. Mr. Sessions may have been an undercover leftist after all.

  3. Jackie Puppet March 16, 2018 at 3:36 pm

He can be much more effective as AG than as a Congressman, where his hands were often tied by “rules” before the hearings even began. It’ll be interesting to see wht kind of margin he’s confirmed by.

Do not know your sources but are probably on the mark. I would have liked Larry Klayman of FreedomWatch…he is former federal prosecutor who detests corruption. Gowdy might do well however with the power of DOJ behind him. Sessions is a total disaster.

He is a deep stater.. He plays as a controlled puppet to give an illusion of choice.

  6. Pete March 17, 2018 at 3:20 am

This gives me hope for America.

Good I think Representative GOWDY will make a aggressive Attorney General that we need in office.

  8. bahmi March 17, 2018 at 4:17 am

I am not totally sure Gowdy is one of us or them….At times, I’ve felt he was given an offer he couldn’t refuse. I hope I am dead wrong on this.

Maybe I’ve misjudged him. I’ll take the heat if he’s the guy we’ve been waiting for.

Trey, big fella, we desperately need an AG to get the job done.

  9. BenjaminGhazi March 17, 2018 at 5:16 am

Correct me if I’m wrong, but is this not the same Gowdy guy who headed up the Benghazi Commision? And, if so, then why do you believe he would go after Hillary as AG when he lied and obfuscated the facts when he had a chance before?

  10. Harold Bell March 17, 2018 at 7:56 am

I hope you are right thanks Dave

  11. haggerty March 17, 2018 at 10:42 am

If Sessions was compromised, will Gowdy be somehow more immunne to the same?

  13. Stan S. March 18, 2018 at 12:50 am

Trey Gowdy talks a good talk. However, he never brought the Benghazi hearings to the conclusion that it should have: indictments of, at the very least, SoS Hillary Clinton in that horrendous affair.

Not sure if he’s the kind of finishing pitcher that you have talked of before, Dave.

  14. bahmi March 18, 2018 at 3:14 am

I have not seen any articles related to Gowdy’s becoming AG in other publications or Internet sites. Is this exclusive information available only to Dave Hodges through a well placed contact? Is this really going to happen, that is, Gowdy taking over at DOJ?

  15. Andrew March 18, 2018 at 8:02 am

Ok its funny how Trey Gowdy has just blasted Trumps Lawyer , are you sure he will be the new AG? somethin is always wrong without much prayer for the Saints to just think all this will happen without the Power of the Holy Spirit working on behalf of God’s children – we need to pray this down and not depend on men to get the job done but the Power of God through the Name of Jesus of pulling down of strong holds.

  16. MadMagyar March 18, 2018 at 11:19 am

Although I think ALL legislators are corrupt and blackmailable to varying degrees, I get the feeling that his sins are venial compared to those of most of the rest of Congress. Here’s hoping that he’ll have the guts to go after the Vice Admirals we call state governor’s out on the Left Coast – and a few on the East, as well.

  17. Rick March 18, 2018 at 5:29 pm

Trey Gowdy is a Bull Dog.
I pray his pedigree is all American.

  18. Ray Say March 19, 2018 at 6:08 am

The chess move was obvious, when Trey said he was not running, not surprising if you follow the way Trump is playing this D.C. game,.
